On the Disney Tumblr today, they showed a Mickey waffle for National Waffle Day. It immediately put the following in my head (even though it doesn't mention waffles):

I grew up in the 70s & 80s, so I watched Walt Disney Presents on Sunday nights and the Muppet Show on Tuesday nights. We actually had my father's old 78s with Mickey & the Beanstalk, so I knew every word to every song before I ever saw the short.

Ha! That's great! My husband quotes Star Wars for days, so the two of us are a pair.
