Everyone's photos are so great! I wish I had more to add....
Window Display at the Candy Cauldron Downtown Disney
CRT dinner menu for a MNSSHP night. I was really surprised that it was different from what is online. The only thing I really wanted to try was the Spring roll - lol.
Over to Italy where we shared a pizza, sauce and cheese were good but the crust was terrible, hard as a rock. Would not get this again. Also had the Primavera, very refreshing!
DH had a pretzel stick with cheese at the Brewers Collection...the pretzel was rock hard and the cheese sauce was scalding hot and spicy
At Morocco I had the falafel pita..it was terrible...super spicy and the pita was dry and stale. I also had the mint ice tea and it tasted like I was drinking wintergreen bubble gum..GROSS!
When I went out later I grabbed the Parisien Cosmo Slush, it was very good, nice and strong and one of my new faves! Grey Goose, Cranberry Juice and Contreau
the NY Strip, This time he subbed out the potatoes and carrots for french fries (amazing) and stir fry veggies (he loved them) and we were not charged the difference.
I tried a new dish, the shrimp and pasta....it was loaded with shrimp and the fresh veggies and light broth were to die for. Excellent dish! Very tender shrimp and the pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente. The veggies and tomatoes were cooked just right, not over done at all.
Nothing on the dessert menu wowed us so we decided to go back to Epcot.
BWI Bakery..he had the eclair with bavarian cream inside...
And more pics from the bakery...note there are no pumpkin items and no more banana split cake
We went back to Epcot and I needed a sweet treat so since France was right there I had the chocolate milk creme brulee from the F&W booth..the line was sooo long but totally worth it. This was amazing and light, super creamy, nice and chocolatey but not too much and just perfect! Need to get more soon!
Chile and had the dulce de leche cookie...super sweet and rich and any more than one bite would make me nauseated but it was a good cookie..just too sweet. Yeah its small but loaded with the caramel filling and the cookie itself is super dense. There was some shrimp ceviche being prepared so I snapped a pic, have not tried it yet.
Our last stop for a nightcap was Puerto Rico.
I had the frozen Mojito...it was excellent! Loved it and would get it again!
burger was gross, the bun fell apart, the burger was hard and dry, the fries were good and he loved the mushrooms and pickles
I ate some of the string beans, they were good. The chicken was very moisty and flavorful..I had 3 bites and DH had the rest. The mashed potatoes were disgusting....they tasted so processed they had a tang to them...BLECH
Roasted eggplant in a very light balsamic with parmesan cheese and thin slices of a salami like item, this comes as soon as you sit down
Forza Acai cocktail, split into 2 glasses
Calamari with fried zucchini.
Caesar salad
White pizza
I had the pasta cabonara
chocolate gelato, so rich and dark and creamy, 2 huge scoops and a ton of raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and strawberries underneath
Our parting gift from Il Mulino was a small glass of Lemoncello, vodka with fresh lemon juice and a simple syrup. They dish it out of a wooden barrel tableside and toast to your health.
DH went for the cinnamon raisin bagel and I had the croissant..both were fresh and filling. We shared a small fruit as they were sold out of the larger serving with the yogurt.
First stop was Puerto Rico..DH wanted to try the ham croquettes and when he saw some people with the chicken and rice dish he told me to get one of those too! The ham croquettes were fabulous...not greasy and the sauce that came with them was delish...I had one bite of one and DH ate the rest and promptly got back in line for another plate! The chicken and rice was terrific too, large serving, lots of white meat tender chicken, loaded with peppers, capers and spanish olives..we loved it!
Next stop was Chile, we tried the Corn and Cheese Arepa. It was a bit weird, like a sweet pancake with cheese on it...nothing special and I would not get it again.
Greece was our next stop and the winner of the best food at the F&W festival...so far I ordered the Greek salad, large portion and it was served with a soft pita and it was excellent. The spanakopita was great as always but the chicken souvlaki was incredible, super tender white meat chicken, excellently seasoned and just enough tzatziki sauce served on a large soft pita..we will def visit this place tomorrow.
Next up was the NY Wine Adventure and DH wanted to try the Ice Wine. It was super small, so sweet I could not stand one sip but he are going to buy a bottle to bring it home when we go back to Epcot tomorrow.
At Ireland Todd wanted to try the cheese plate...BLECH....first of all the chutney tastes like air freshener, the bread is a dry piece of wood and the cheeses are all dry and very strong, almost bitter...this booth was a bust for us. Here is a pic of the Fisherman's Pie too.
I popped into the tea shop in England and bought my first pumpkin thing the entire trip...Pumpkin Chai Tea! Going to try it tonight when we get back to the room.
DH wanted the chocolate milk creme brulee from France, he loved it! Super creamy and wonderful
Over to NOLA for some wonderful chicken gumbo...careful as it is spicy but oh so good. The bread pudding was excellent and the portion was a good size. The cocktail they have is a fruity one made with bourbon.
At Germany we had the sausage on a pretzel roll...expected sauerkraut too but it isnt served with it and DH was bummed...very good though and very big!
A peach oolong ice tea from Lotus Blossom to cool us off...great stuff!
At Poland I wanted the Chopin Raspberry Cooler...I had it last year and yeah it was sweet but I liked it..not this year...it was sooo sweet and super tart and just gross...DH finished it off for me...what can I say, he is like Mikey, he will eat anything.
And before we left for a break we stopped at the GG stand for a slushie...love these little suckers. We each had one but I took the picture of Todd's as it was easier, you know with me balancing our tote bag, the F&W gift card, the drink and the camera!
