Disney Fantasy Eastern Caribbean December 14 2013

Michelle - Susann and I (Dan) along with Nikkie sailed on Magic from NY to Canada in September. We had s great DIS and FB group on that cruise and a few of us have decide to have a reunion cruise on this one. Our DS Robby (11), DD AnQuennette (7), and DS Isaiah (6) will be joining us. We are in cabin 9000.

Hello!
I have 2 sons Nathan (11) and Jake (9) we will have to introduce our kids! I know that they are a little nervous about making friends. I believe because of their ages they will be in different clubs, so knowing some faces will help! This is our first cruise :) We are in room 10158

Sounds good - just realized I mistyped Robby's age. He will be 12, but likes meeting other kids and the clubs. We've been on 3 DCL cruises with him and 1 Carnival. We've spoiled all our kids with the cruises (us too :)).

Us too....our kids expect nothing less then a cruise...lol but I guess if I wanna go I must take them...lol

Hi everyone.

Today I had such a humbling experience where I met 15 UK and 15 USA servicemen and women who are cycling around the east of England.
These service personnel are all injured in conflict and are either amputees, spinal or brain damaged.
It was really a remarkable experience to meet them and hear about their ride. I met a school-friend who lost a leg in an explosion in Northern Ireland, a USAF sergeant who lost a leg in Iraq and an Army private who lost his arms in Iraq.
Their bravery is quite unique and is one of those experiences in my term as Deputy Mayor I shall not forget.
I know this has nothing to do with our cruise but I'm telling as many people as I can about it.

David - thanks for sharing. The young men and women that serve in any armed force are amazing and inspirational, but those you met and talked with are especially so. They have given so much and yet ask for so little in return and are so humble, it is amazing to see this caliber of human being.

Thank you so much for sharing these pictures. I am always humbled by the bravery of our servicemen/women who fight for our freedom. What an honor it must have been to be in their company.

Hey everyone...anyone alive?? Kids sail free promo came out.....Jan4-march 1st sailings out of galveston. Join me Feb 9th. surprising our kids for xmas!!! This will help get me to next Dec...having DCL withdrawl!

Wow, wish we could do that...hubby and I are going to Belize for our anniversary in Feb and our spring break isn't until April. Maybe they'll extend...

Trying to figure out how to get one more cruise in before the baby comes, but it's just not going to happen. I can't complain; we are headed to Aulani on Nov. 3rd, and then spending 3 days at the Grand Californian in January for our annual family vacation. But I literally dream of cruising. Just last night, in fact!

As an update, me and baby are doing pretty well. I'm 15 weeks along. My doctor gave us a 95% chance last week of having a boy, but I'm hoping to know for sure by my next appt on Halloween. I'll be slightly disappointed if we don't have a girl, because I've had years of imagining a little princess, but I think I will be just as happy with a little prince.

Just wanted to pop in and say hello! I found the website, and added our info. This is one organized group!

Trying not to get too excited yet, as we still have so far to go before we sail!

Have a great weekend everyone,
Wendy

Hi everyone!

Thought I'd pop in and say Hi. :wave2: I've been busy working and doing family stuff.

I also applied for the Mom's Panel as a DCL cruise specialist. This was my 4th time applying and I finally made it to round 2! :cool1:

I had to submit more essays and a video of my favorite Disney Memory. I submitted the time we surprised the kids with a cruise after getting off the Wonder. We had just gotten off the boat and before we left the terminal I stopped them and said, "Hey kids - You have the whole week off! Let's just get back on!" That was the best surprise ever!!!

Here is a picture of their reaction:

Haha, that is AWESOME! I don't have kids (yet), but I was just imagining my DH's reaction if I did that to him. I don't know which emotion would win... I can imagine he would be pretty ticked about all the extra money it costs and not being prepared to being away that long.

On the other hand, he can do that to me any time he wants! :rotfl2:

I agree - My family can surprise me with a cruise anytime, but it always me doing the planning, so I don't see it happening. :confused3

I would so luv to be apart of the Mom's panel as a DCL specialist...

I am so excited to surprise them with a cruise again this Xmas. Last year I put envelopes in some gifts with puzzle pieces and they had to put the puzzle pieces together, on which it said "You are going on a Disney Cruise."

This year we are surprising them with a 6 nt western on the Magic out of Galveston. We are having them find clues around the house and then the last will be to facetime their friends of which all 5 kids will open a package with shirts the say "All I want for Christmas"(on the front)
"Is a Disney Cruise" with a pic of the Magic on the back.
They of course will be excited for the Magic but even more that their friends are coming.

I have made about 25 of the adult gifts for this cruise and I like them so much I am making them for this Feb cruise we are taking. I saw people selling them on etsy for $5-7 each...dang I could be making money...instead I am making them for you guys....oh that's ok I love my DIS families!!!
