Can't wait for our second Disney Cruise!! Last time we were on the Magic and had an incredible time- hope that this is even better! We did the FE last time and I definitely want to do it again!
I am still friends w/ people I met through this in 2011!! Looking forward to all of the planning fun and getting to know you all!
As far as who is doing the FE and such, it was about 3 months prior or maybe slightly more that whoever wanted to participate would sign up. And i think it was just in here on the Boards that we did that.

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS where FE began years ago.

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one seems to be coming forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS.

Taking the whole family - 10 of us all together for Christmas. DH and I went for the first time last summer and had such a great time we decided to do Christmas with the family onboard the Fantasy. Can't wait!! Only 270 days to go!!

We have moved our reservation to the 4 night Bahama christmas cruise instead of this 7 night. To make it a more special trip we bumped up to concierge on that sailing. Hope everyone has a wonderful cruise and since I will not see anyone on the ship Merry Christmas.
