Disney Crossy Road App is Live!

Hi everyone,

I didn't see this posted anywhere else, so please forgive me if this is a repeat.

I got the app for my iPad last night and played it for a bit. I think the developer, Hipster Whale, has done a great job on this app. There are tons of characters to collect, and the different "worlds" in the game are great. Each one has a slightly different dynamic. The Haunted Mansion has recordings from the ride!

It is "Freemium", meaning you can download for free and it offers in-app purchases. The great thing about Crossy Road is you aren't forced to buy anything to keep playing the game. You can still play and unlock characters without spending a dime.

I gotta say, HM is the most difficult IMO. It seems like everything there moves faster.

And you have to light the candles so the screen doesn't black out! The Knights that chase you in the "safe areas"! That's what makes it so fun!

I've been playing this. I now have some 40 odd characters unlocked. I went way too far down the rabbit hole with this one

I love this game I am addicted. I am about twenty characters in and love it better than the original Crossy Road

I bought Hamm. I've definitely got more than $5 worth of fun out of this and original Crossy Road.

Now I can pick up 5c coins as I'm playing.

I love the added fun in the Wreck-It-Ralph stage. I unlocked Fix-It-Felix and now only play as him. It's a lot of fun keeping the multiplier up by grabbing the candies and cherries. Gives it a little something extra.

I also feel like I get more coins on that level. I'm sure that's not the case, but that's what I've noticed.

My 10 year old is obsessed with this game, he's been playing for quite awhile and has a lot of characters. It makes me jealous...there's a lot of great characters I wish were released for MY obsession, Tsum Tsum

I found this app the day Disney dashed my Rivers of Light dreams. Instead of checking blogs and 'monster' threads incessantly, I started playing this. I have 69/125 characters unlocked and haven't paid a dime. NOW you telling me there is a way to keep the HM screen from going dark?!? How did I not already know this! Obviously I need to focus more on the important things. Time to go find some candles!
