Disney canceled my Mine Train FP for Sept 27

What did you tell them? I called that number, too, and I was transferred to customer service, where I waited on hold for 6 minutes, and then Poppy told me that the ride was being refurbished that day.

You know they did transfer me, the woman was very nice. It was Haunted Mansion that was canceled for me. She tried to fit it in a different spot, but there are 9 of us and I have multiple FPs booked, some that can't be moved (A&E). Not all 9 of us are doing the same thing, but the Haunted Mansion was the one ride we were all doing. She ended up giving me 9 "Select One Experience" to be used any time that day from 9am-7pm.

Edited to add: We have to use the "Select One Experience" on the Haunted Mansion, but we can go when ever we want.

There was a huge problem last year getting the non-ticketed party goers out of the park because of the 7DMT. At 7pm the standby line was over 2 hour long. Cast members were having to escort people to the exits immediately after riding, they were still escorting people out during the parade and Hallowishes. My guess is that they are limiting the FPs to E ticket rides to avoid having to staff extra people just to escort non party ticket holders out.

It isn't just E ticket rides. My guess is all FP that could potentially spill guests over past 7pm are being cancelled and rescheduled for earlier in the day.

We have tickets to the 9/27 MNSSHP and I had Winnie the Pooh FP scheduled for 6-7p. It was changed to Splash 1:30-2:30p which obviously won't work for us.

Just to note, we also have 7DMT FP for that same night, from 4:40-5:40 and those are still in place.

I deleted the third experience, hoping I could start from scratch and possibly get Mine Train at one of the earlier times. However, after I deleted the third, I was unable to add a third unless I wanted to wipe out all of my FP+ from the day... Poor system. So, I called customer service again. Spoke briefly with one woman about the situation, who switched me to a gentleman.

He explained that there was a glitch in the system causing all past 6:30 on MNSSHP nights to cancel. He said the system should revert it in the next 24-48 hours automatically. IDK how much I believe that. But I told him about my situation with the third FP, and he went ahead and fixed it for me, so I have Mine Train again. Kind of frustrating ordeal, but glad they fixed it, as I think they should.

If there was a big issue with the E ticket rides and MNSSHP last year, they should have planned these cut-offs before the 60-day window, as others have said. Then none of us, clients or Disney, would be in this mess.

Yes, I'm not worried about it....we are going to the party that night so it's no big deal to me. I would be mad if it was one of the FP's I got up a midnight to get though!

We're going to the party that night, too. I've heard folks say that ride waits aren't bad during the party, but I assumed that wouldn't be true for Mine Train.. Is Mine Train usually a walk-on during the party, too?

I was up at midnight for my reservations... I haven't been to WDW since Mine Train opened, and I probably won't get to go again for many years 'cause of finances and family planning. I wanted to ride at least twice in the week without a horrendous 2-hour wait.

OP here. I have been on the phone with Disney for 39 minutes and counting. This makes me so mad. At midnight at 60 days out I scheduled Mine Train for 5:55-6:55 and I had other times I could have picked. Now they are saying too bad so sad. They keep insisting that it is closed all day for refirb. I am being transferred to guest services now. These fp changes should have been determined before the 60day mark.

They haven't touched any of my FP for the 27th. I am wondering if it is because the only ticket I had at the time I made them was for MNSSHP? So they know that's why I am there.

We were at a Sept party last year and even the 7DMT line was not bad. The first wait was 15 minutes and 2nd ride wait was even shorter. The 2nd was during Hallowishes and was one of the coolest experiences of my life.

What time of day? I'm guessing the ending time was before 6:30 p.m.

I have 7DMT for 9/25 (also a party night) from 4:45 - 5:45 and it is still intact. Thank goodness, that is my only 7DMT FP+ for our whole trip! I'm sorry for everyone that got cancelled. :( Not fair!

I have 7DMT on 9/15 -5:30-6:30 and so far it is still there. We will be in MK all day and have tickets to MNSSHP that night.

Add another experience to the "canceled" list. We had a 6-7 Buzz and they changed it to 2:10-3:10 Jungle Cruise. I don't have a clue why they did not make it at 2:10-3:10 Buzz that was opened. I went in and changed it myself to 3-4 Buzz. I guess I am leaving Food & Wine at Epcot an hour earlier than I had planned. Not too big or a deal for me but, some of you really got the screws put to you. I am so sorry and I hope you can at least get things fixed somewhat. If they knew they were needing people to be finished with the fastpasses by the time the party started, they should have done this sooner as PP's have said.

This is clearly an issue with FP+ after 6:30 on a party night.

They cancelled my Peter Pan from 6-7 and changed it to Mickey's Philharmagic. It's Strange that Philharmagic is available up until 7 that night. In any event, I was able to reschedule all my FP+ to just 30 minutes earlier. I'm a little upset since we're getting in late that night and Peter Pan was the one thing we wanted to accomplish, but 30 minutes isn't going to hurt too much.

I just got off the phone with Renee. She was very nice and explained to me what happened.

I was told the same thing as someone else... It was a system Glitch!!!!

She told me to not mess with the changed fast pass. They are reversing the system and it should come back within 24 hours. She said that if I changed it it might not go back to the original 7dmt FP so just leave it alone for now. If not to call back and they will fix it but it was a glitch that all FP after 6 on party nights were rescheduled.

Seems others got the same message. So I guess I'll wait to see if it gets fixed.

If this was a problem last year, then I have to think they could have made this decision before people started booking FPs 60 days out this year.

Once again, Disney expects guests to jump through all sorts of hoops and commit to things many months out, but have no issue with pulling the rug out and making changes after those plans were made.

I would settle for nothing less than an any attraction FP that worked on 7DMT if that's what I lost in this deal.
