tinkerbeth - check out allearsnet.com, go to Planning, under Ticket Information you will see Annual Passes, this is a very good tutorial on AP's and the benefits!
Will the new 7/5 package be based on rack rates or will they be AAA rates if I am a AAA member? Cannot remember from last year's 7/4 fary tail package.
The 7 for 5 package will be based on non-discounted rates (ie rack rates); you can not apply any other discount to the deal. You can figure out how much it will be by plugging in your information (dates, resort, etc) on the WDW reservation website and requesting pricing for 5 day dreammaker package. HTH
4:56PM, just spoke to a nice CM, same reply that they can only give today, nothing now, keep checking! Will be up early tomorrow, I think it will just be the package, hopefully AP, and Florida discounts come Thursdays!!
Fire RescueMom:
Definetly, call in and they will apply the discount! Last year my daughter saved $400 on her package with the 7 for 4 package!! By the way her husband is a paramedic/fireman!
Someone on another thread just posted that their AAA agent told them that when they book with them tomorrow they can use their AAA discount in conjunction with the 7 for 5 deal. I guess there is only one way to find out...wait until tomorrow, and ASK
I would like to know about this AAA discount............and especially if it can be applied to this package. I am not a member of AAA yet but would join if I could apply some kind of discount.
Funny, I just got an offer to join AAA in the mail today. It came with temporary cards and I have until 06/15/04 to pay the annual fee ($55) to get permanent cards. If we can apply an AAA discount to the 7/5 package you can bet I'll be paying the $55 and joining. DH & I have been talking about joining - we think it's good to have - and this might just get our behinds in gear. Ha! "Gear".
OK, I'm getting punchy. It's 11:45pm here. I need to get some sleep so I can be up before 6am (7a FL time) to make that all importnt call!
OK, I just got off the phone with my AAA office and I was transferred to a Disney specialist. She told me as far as she knew you could use both discounts together, but she put me on hold while she talked to their office's Disney 'expert.' When she came back, she broke my heart The 'expert' said they are allowing NO double discounts. It seemed strange to me that the first lady did not know that...she was SOOO nice about it. She laughed and said 'would it kill Disney to give people a break once in a while?' hahaha Oh well, I was hoping to be able to upgrade my resort category with the additional discount. Has anyone else tried their AAA office? Did you get a different answer? It seems like it's maybe a little unclear for them. Let us know
