Discounts for end of August?

It didn't look like there were any special offers this summer, I am guessing with the opening of Carsland they didn't need to.....have there been any discounts on room only or on packages in August in recent history? This will decide if we stay at DLH or offsite. Thanks!

I stayed at the GCH from Aug 28- Sep 2/2010 and had a 40% discount. The discount period started around Aug 20, IIRC.

My stay at the Disneyland Hotel for August 29 - September 3 was 30% off for AP holders. They also offered the extra night of Sept. 3 at $129, but we had plane tickets and school the next day.
