Dinner Rotation?

Did I read correctly that if you do the Land/Sea that when you get your KTTW card at the resort that it is not on the card?

You be correct on that point. You then have to wait until you board the ship and enter your room to see the form that has your dinning rotation on it.

I believe (as in I'm not 100% sure) that you can NOT even find out at the check in counters what your dinning rotation is (since you are doing the land/sea thing - you don't have to check in at the port after doing the land portion)

Search around on some of the information sites. Depending on your party makeup, you might be able to make a reasonable guess as to what you'll get. Also, you can request a specific rotation - it's no guarantee, but Disney will try to get you what you want.

I was looking at this today. I read that if your party has young kids it will be aplapla and older kids is plaplap. What if I have 1 of each? DD4, DS11 and 5 adults. Any thoghts what I might expect?:D

On our first two cruises (1st cruise: kids were 11, 8, 7 and 4; and 2nd cruise: 14, 11, 12 and 7) we got the PLALAP rotation. On our 6-19 cruise (kids are now 16, 13, 13 and 9) we got the APLAPLA rotation. Going on "our" history, my thought is you'll get PLAPLAP rotation. HTH

That is what I will plan around but being the over planner:wave2:that I am I think I'll just figure out Palo's on all three rotations. I want to do the brunch with DH but don't want it the same day as the Character breakfast. :teeth: Thanks for your help!

I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only one who plans that much. I too have figured out on three different rotations. Actually, my latest thought process is that wherever you start is where you finish, so try to get Palo on the last night. Am I crazy?? Does this make sense to those of you who have been there, done that?? I'm in a category 12 room so I doubt I'm going to have any say on my rotation.
