Dinner reservations during Halloween party?

I've been watching the dining reservations for dinner on October 12th for awhile now and still nothing. I've never been to a Halloween party before. Do they not have table service restaurants open during them? We are about 36 days out. The latest they show for Big Thunder BBQ is 4:30.

Thank you!

The last reservation time is generally 90 minutes to 2 hours before the park closes to the general public. 4:30 pm is probably about the latest time you're going to find for BTRBBQ on a party night.

Last year's MHP guide map only indicate that Cafe Orleans and Carnation Cafe were open during MHP, but I can't remember if they were only open for part of the party or if they stayed open the whole time (I'm guessing they closed part way through the party).

Well - if you're well-heeled and want a BB reservation, I noticed a new offering (at least I hadn't heard of it anywhere here) that you can reserve. I seriously considered it, but it does take up a LOT of park time (7:30-9:45) and it would be $600 for our party. If I were a party of 2 traveling without kids, I would sign up asap!
It sounds like fun...kind of reminds me of the Villains Soiree that WDW tried last year during MNSSHP. Still, that's a lot park time!

It also confirms that Blue Bayou isn't going to be open during the party for regular guests (and that they will probably stop seating guests around 4:30 pm to make sure the restaurant is cleared and set-up in time for this event to tart at 7:00 pm).

This is first I've heard of this, thanks for sharing.

I think it just popped up today, apparently. It has not been announced on the Parks Blog, and I don't recall seeing it on the DLR site when I checked yesterday afternoon. So, this is a rare case of the DLR site actually getting information assembled and posted before the Parks Blog announced it! Seeing how mixed up their system and info has been lately, it's a miracle that they got this posted.

Wow, I am serious thinking about this on Halloween night.

Ok one more question.... I just booked the 4:30pm. Does anyone know if the sausage will be served? It says "lunch" but that feels like it closer to dinner. What do you think? I hope so because that's the best part of it!

When we go to the Halloween party or Christmas party we always eat dinner before the party starts.
We love the Halloween party because adults get to dress up and trick or treat too!
At WDW they start letting guests in the park around 4pm (the party starts officially at 7pm). I would think the same is true for DL?
There is so much to see and do during the parties we don't like to spend precious party time eating a table service meal.
We eat a late lunch/early dinner between 3-4. During the party we enjoy some of the beloved Disney snacks. :)
During the halloween party there's lots of trick or treating to do along with all the other activities.
(We always bring our own trick or treat bags. the bag they give you is very very small.)
