My DD is 3 and does not eat very much when we dine out. Is it ok when dining out to not order her a meal? Paying OOP so not trying to be cheap, but don't want to be wasteful either. Have ADR at Akershus, 'Ohanas, and Bomas which I'm fine paying for her. As far as any other TS meals if my dd and I were to share a meal is that frowned upon?

When paying out of pocket, you can order as little or as much as you want. Like you know you will pay the child's price for her at Ohana and other AYCTE places. In the others, you can share with whomever you want. Have a great trip!

If it is a la carte, you will be fine not ordering her a meal. You will have to pay the child price at buffet or AYCE meals though.
