December - PIN history?

We are thinking of going to the World in December for a few days prior to a Holiday cruise - have there ever been any discounts around that time? I noticed the bounce-back offer ends Dec 17. We would be checking in Dec 19 and leaving Dec 22.

Sorry I'm not sure about PIN offers, but as far as "regular" deals mousesavers keeps a list of historical discounts by date to help give you an idea of what might show up. Here's what they show for those dates last year:

For check ins 8/15/10-12/21/10 package deal ("free dining") for general public became available on 7/6/10, exp 8/14/10
For check ins 10/1/10-12/21/10 package deal ("free dining") for general public became available on 8/16/10, exp 12/20/10
For check ins 10/3/10-12/25/10 package deal ("free gift card") for general public became available on 8/16/10, exp 11/21/10
For check ins 10/3/10-12/25/10 Annual Passholder room-only rates became available on 8/17/10, exp 12/25/10
For check ins 10/3/10-12/25/10 Florida resident room-only rates became available on 9/10/10, exp 12/25/10
For check ins 10/3/10-12/31/10 room-only discount for general public became available on 8/16/10, exp 11/21/10

once the kids start getting off from school (not just your area but everywhere) the deals end. There has to my knowledge never been a code starting for that time. I would say most vacation times for Xmas this year will start Dec.16. In the past there have been some offers where if you started before the end date then the discount would apply for your whole stay, but Disney has done away with that for a while, as well.

You may if you are a AAA member qualify for a small room discount. It's worth a try.

The jury's out on when the discounts will cut off this year. My own kids went to school into that following week last year, so I'm sure we will this year too, as will many others.

Last year the free dining offer that was offered was for arrival days through 12/21. I do expect to see them back off of that a bit, but who knows. They claim they will be scaling back on discounts in general, but only time (and the economy) will tell.

We went in Dec 2007 with a 40% off room PIN code. Dates = Dec 16-22. I loved being there at that time of year!!!

Planning on going Dec 2012 so I've been keeping tabs on the trend for PINs that we've received pertaining to the month of December. These weren't general public offers so I'm hoping they'll be emailing us these offers still next year. I put down the dates we received the email as well... also I only jotted down deluxe resort info.
