Nicki - Did you see the post for the special? I paid 256.00 but was able to get a refund of 120 something dollars ( had it credited to my shipboard account) I want to say the new price is 131.00. I think its a great deal. I cant wait to go down the water slide through the shark tunnel!!!!!! I also cant wait to get the pictures of my children doing it. My TA took care of this and that is why I dont know exactly what I paid second time around.

No, I did not see the post about the special. I guess I don't understand, why would Disney give you a credit for Atlantis?

Nicki

My TA took care of it. She got the credit from Atlantis and then had agency apply it to my shipboard account. They were only connected because of TA. Sorry for the confusion. Atlantis wouldnt let me change it because TA booked it for me, so they had to take care of it. I want to say the special was through travelzoo. If you look 3-5 pages back you will see where Shawn told us about it. She also put the code you will need. It would be a great deal. Hope you get to do it. If I have further confused you, write me back and I will try again!!!!!

I found it for you....Look at the post below.

Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas just announced an amazing special of $99 per night -- per room, not per person! That's one of the hottest deals we've ever seen for this world-famous resort. Typically, rooms go for well over $200 per night during this time.
The $99 special applies to midweek travel (Sunday-Wednesday nights) in the Beach Tower. Upgrade to the centrally located Coral Towers for an additional $30 per night. With all the added charges it totals 130.88

Ok thank for the info on Atlantis. I will have to take a look at it tomorrow. I can't believe there is only 21 day left until the cruise. (I booked back in April/May of 2005 so it has been a long time coming.) I just I will see you all on board. Who has the late dinner? I do.

We had a very busy weekend, went to the cigar heritage festival. They broke the world records for the longest cigar. They made an 100ft cigar. My BIL and future SIL were a part of it. It was so neat!! Then went to the Hard Rock in Orlando to see Carlos Mencia. Very funny and a nice night out with friends without our children! :woohoo:

Rina

DH and I love Carlos Mencia..Twisted but soo funny!

We have late dinner-but I think I'm going to try for early dinner once we board. I haven't decided yet.

Shari-We don't sell trees, only nuts and cookies for us! I have a wonderful mom who does all of the work for our troop so that is one thing that I don't actually have to do (I am such a sucker I'd probably be sitting out there all night waiting for people to buy trees if our council did it!) I have such a hard time saying no when it comes to volunteering!

I vote for a quick get together right after the sail away party to meet. I'm retty sure we only have about 15 minutes to spare in my highly ordered plan of "doing it all"

We have late seating. :)

I started to "tan" 2 weeks ago. I'd like to announce I am a proper shade of pink and freckles. Mike, OTOH, has gone twice for a total of a whopping 11 minutes and is already tan. Jerk. :goodvibes

Rina, that's a great picture, although I have to admit I have no idea who Carlos Mencia is. Am I showing my age?

Does anyone else feel like not working and is just ready to go, go, go?

I'm home all week, although I've had family house guests here for over a week.

I'm not sure which I prefer, the chaos of work or the chaos of home.

Well, i just cannot focus today, i hope not to have any interviews this week as it is only a 3 day work week for me. But hey, i will take what i can get.

Well, i guess by the popular vote, we can do it in my suite. Please remember admission is 5 bucks.

What time should we do this, i know my girls will be taking advantage of the pool as soon as we get on board, so should we plan for Like Early Monday morning before those of us venture off the Ship in Nassau?

Or we could meet after the sail away party, just not sure what time you guys got dinner, we have late and i am hoping for 8:00 pm not 8:30-so just let me know,

We also need an answer on how to do the gift exchange for the kids-will we do the daily delivery or all at once :confused3

I'm jealous! I want my picture with Carlos! He was in town a month ago and I found out the day after he left. Maybe next time he's around. I nearly pee my pants everytime I watch his show (even the reruns!)

We'd have to do it on Sunday-we have to be off the ship early on Monday for excursions, etc.

My kids are looking forward to running around the ship delivering presents. I don't think a schedule is necessary, let's just say have them delivered by Tuesday night. No need to get them out all in the same day either.

Just my 2 cents though.
