I know that Disney has made some changes to the snack part of the DDP. My question is this. It states that most items under or up to $4.00 are included. For instance at the food court they will have danish and breakfast type items do these count on the snack side? Veterens please clarify for us.

Thanks

yes, at the food court, most of the danish/muffins/donuts count as snacks. in our past experience, at The Mara, they counted cereal and milk as 1 snack. some have reported cereal as 1 and milk as 1. we did get the small milk (from the kid's corner) with the individual serving of cereal, that may be why.

Yep, pp is correct. Pretty much anything $4.00 and under is considered a snack. Which we found out works out great for breakfast!

Just keep in mind that the policy is that each individually-priced item counts as one snack credit used. So two $2 items is generally treated as two snacks, not one snack.

Yes we just got back from Pop century and for 1 snack credit you could get a box of donuts, danish, bowl of cereal, etc... Also at the theme parks you could get almost anything under $4 for a snack. At the main street bakery there are a number of items to choose from.

Non Disney owned restaurants such as the French bakery in EPCOT don't follow the $4 policy. Kids meals are also an exception to the $4 rule but Disney seems to be ending the confusing by raising the price of many of the kids meals.

Disney owned restauarants are being more than generous. The Main Street Bakery (MK) actually lowered the price of some items below $4 to make it clear they're included. The Maine Lobster roll during the F&W Festival was covered, that cost more than $4.

Pop snack credits were great, big box of donuts, large bag of chips, bowl of fruit, big milkshake, all on the plan. Happy snacking:rotfl:

On our last day, we used all the extra snack credits for donuts, large bags of chips, etc.....it provided us with all our snack items for the next 7 days in South Florida. You can't beat that!
