DDA Weight Loss Progress Thread

Well, with everything going on this summer in combination with being a tad bit lazy, i needed a new start.

A couple coworkers and i decided to do a weightloss incentive thing together..We measured and weighed ourselves on 8/25...We will do so again on 9/25 and at the end of every month. The deal is if we stay the same, or lose the weight/inches, its good, but if we gain, 10 dollars goes into the pot..At the end, the person that loses the most, gets the money..

This is what im starting at..

157 lbs (not happy with this at all!)
Waist-29.5 inches
Arms-11 inches
Legs-23.2 inches
Hips-42.9 inches
chest-35.4 inches

My Mini goal is to get down to 150 by Nov 12 (when i leave for teh cruise)
Ideally, id love to be down to 140 again..
I am drinking at least 64oz of water a day as well as exercising...now i just need to stay motivated

Program of Choice: Weight Watchers. Started on 9/5/06

Starting Weight: 159.2 lbs
Weight Watchers Goal: lose 15 lbs
Weight Watchers Lifetime Goal: 135 lbs.
Personal Goal: 130 lbs.

Plan: follow diet and add in excercise as time permits and diet wanes.

9/12/06: 157.8 Loss of 1.4 lbs :thumbsup2
9/19/06: 155.2 Loss of 4.0 lbs : :thumbsup2
9/26/06: 153.8 Loss of 5.4 lbs : :thumbsup2
10/3/06: 152.4 Loss of 6.8 lbs : :thumbsup2
10/10/06: 150.2 Loss of 9.0 lbs: :cool1:
10/17/06: 149.6 Loss of 9.6 lbs: :smooth:
10/24/06: 149.0 Loss of 10.2 lbs: :cheer2:
10/31/06: 146.8 Loss of 12.4 lbs: pirate:
11/7/06: 147.2 Gain of .4 lbs: :sad2:
11/21/06: 143.6 lbs loss of 3.6 lbs since 11/7 and 15.4 lbs overall :dance3:
11/28/06: No Change, but maintained over Thanksgiving!!
12/5/06: 142.8 lbs = loss of .8 lbs this week and 16.2 lbs overall
12/12/06: 142.6 lbs = loss of .2 lbs this week and 16.4 lbs overall
12/26/06: 142.8 lbs = gain of .2 lbs in two weeks and loss of 16.2 lbs overall (Not bad considering it was Christmas)
1/2/07: 143.2 lbs = gain of .4 lbs. That means I gained .6 lbs between Thanksgiving and New Years. I'm ok with that.
1/9/07: 140.0 lbs = loss of 3.2 lbs.

Only 10 lbs to go!!!
1/23/07: 139.8lbs = loss of 0.02 lbs
1/30/07: 138.8lbs = loss of 1 lb This marks my 20 lb lost at WW and my 60th lb lost overall:woohoo: :woohoo:
5/15/07: 139.0 lbs = gain of .2 lbs. Not too bad maintaining over the last 4 months. Now to lose the rest.

DIET - NutriSystem

EXERCISE - mainly walking 20-30 minutes a day with weight training and resistance training 3 times a week.

PROGRESS -
8/22/06: - 1 lb. (39 more to go)
8/29/06: - 1 lb. (38 more to go)
9/5/06: - 1 lb. (37 more to go)
9/12/06: - 1.4 lbs (35.6 more to go)

TOTAL LOST: -64.4 pounds :)

You are having amazing results. Just take it slow and steady. You've already lost about 2 3 year olds :rotfl: Or 1 1/2 of my nearly 9 year old. Very impressive.

Believe it or not, Deb... that is how I have been thinking of it too. Must have something to do with the kind of people you and I hang around with on a daily basis. Thanks!

Okay, I've been floating around the Creative page for awhile now and this is where I'm going to make my home.

Goal - to get down to 200lbs.. stop snacking so much on kids' treats

Exercise: Walk 1hour on treadmill/ride bike 30 mins a day. Since I'm working out about everyday, I'm going to send myself a happy smile everyday I work out!

Food program: Breakfast - Special K, 10am snack - carrots with ranch dressing or fruit, Lunch - Lean cuisine meal, 4pm snack - fruit or pretzels with hummas, 7pm snack - Special K bar, 11pm dinner - Slim Fast drink (I work nights)

Weight
9/15/05 - 285lbs.
9/01/06 - 265lbs.
9/24/06 - 240lbs. (I have these 20lbs that I keep gaining and losing - hopefully I can keep them off this time.
10/12 - 238
10/14 - 240
10/18 - 239
10/24 - 235
10/30 - 241
11/01 - 232

Excercise: As of Aug 21st doing the Firm 3 x a week (Finally being consistent!!!!!!!!)

Updated. I earned my 1st 5 lbs lost star tonight. I think that I might have to create a design for each 5 lbs that I lose. I remember someone else doing that and I thought it was cool.

Another loss and that is amazing after going hog wild for 3 out of 7 days.
