I've read a ton on the CC board re Paradise Beach but never had read about the sand being "coarse" like an East Coast beach. that seems odd to me on Cozumel and would be a very slight downer for us. So my question here is to anyone who has done the DCL Beach Break recently at Playa Mia:
1. Is the sand, soft white and powdery?
2. Are there umbrellas or any other kind of shade? From the website it is not apparent if there are or aren't.
We were set on PB, but now considering this excursion instead.
Anyone who has been recently (post Hurricane) to Playa Mia, please post.
