Daytona Airport-help

Well my mom went ahead and booked her air, but surprise she booked into Daytona instead of orlando on recommendation of TA!!! The rest of us are flying into orlando. All day before cruise in March (13/04).

What to do now. Any one fly into daytona. What car rental. Any shuttle/limo (I assume taxi wld not work as too far??)

Daytona Beach has a nice-enough mid-sized airport. But it's 74 miles from the port (as opposed to Orlando being 47 miles from the port). From any airport other than Orlando or Melbourne, the only economically viable transportation option is to rent a car.
