My daughter has an AP, but I don't yet. In order to get a room discount does it have to be an adult AP or do you just have to have one passholder staying in the room.

You only need one passholder(child or adult) to rent rooms. I believe you can get up to three rooms.

Same postings I have read say that the room has to be in the passholders name and credit card but I obviously cant do that with my daughter, so it is in my name and my mother in laws name you think that will be okay.

Do you plan on getting an AP? Because you can purchase your AP online, AAA, or at a Disney Store. You can show them the voucher you are sent when you check-in.

No i had not really planned on getting one, she has one because she has 2 sets of grandparents that take her seperately each year, lucky girl.

I would call and ask them the policy - I'm under the impression that the name/payment on the ressie must match the AP holders name.... Not sure tho - so I would call & ask.
