DH really enjoys Garth and we do go to Vegas once in awhile. Garth signed a deal with Wynn to play in Vegas. To get tickets you have to enter online and if you get picked you are offered 3 different times to go see him. So DSister signed up, she got a time sensative email you can go either June, July or August but you had to purchase the tickets by 8PM the next night. But she just had to fly twice to FL due to her FIL illness/death. So she said no to the extra money now. We were to go with them so we priced out tickets: 2 concert tickets were $286, 2 nite stay at the Wynn which you MUST prove you have a reservaiton before you can purchase your tickets was $367. -OK doable. But the flights were terrible -fly out Sat last flight D/T cheapest ticket and flight back Monday last flight again cheapest ticket (arriving 12:55AM) was $585 that was for around 48 hours in Vegas. Adding another day either way made the ticket so way up, we figured around $1238 for a 48 hoiur stay. The other months tickets were higher. Southwest vacations had a Wynn deal buy 3 get a nite free tickets plus flights for $1103 but the Wynn had to have verification from Southwest vacations BEFORE they would sell us the tickets and no one had any idea how long it would take before southwest vacation would post our purchase so if it was after 8PM that night we could not buy the concert tickets, then we would have an expensive southwest package. So for us a no too.
