We had a 90 day PS for the Fantasmic package here at 15.40pm which seemed way too early, but worked out fine.
We saw the first show, still nice and dark and full to capacity (people had been queueing for two hours) we were escorted in 15mins before as part of the package.
Anyway on to the food...
Jackie had the Feta Salad with Orange and Pecans, nice and light,
whilst I had the crab cakes with two dressings, delicious...
Unusually we both selected the same main course , Rack of lamb with a mustard crust, nice and pink and tender, and full of taste, it was served with baby zucchinis and carrots and a fondant potato, dressed in its own jus, the quality of this dish would make me book again without hesitation...Wine had to be a sonoma zinfandel, excellent as usual.
For dessert Jackie had the signature grapefruit cake, nice and refreshing, with a pot of earl grey tea.
I had the bittersweet chocolate with pears and pomegranite sauce which was heavenly with a coffe and a mcallum malt..
We have to mention here the disney magic was in full swing during this meal with a full performance from the Californian Mayor having a chat with every table and a very attentive OAP server who made sure we would find our way to the back door entrance to Fantasmic.
In all a fantasmic meal , costing $147 inc tip ( our server was very efficient and lovely so she got a nice tip too)
