Does anyone know what models are currently in display @ the SSR center, and what if any incentives are being offered?

    TIA :goodvibes

Hi. We were just there last Wednesday. They have VGF, AKL, and Alani.

We were just there last week. The pp was correct on the 3 models they currently are showing. Just wanted to add: for taking the tour we got a $50 disney gift card and each of the 5 people in our family got 3 FP+ added to our magic bands. These were FP that were available to use for most attractions (they give you a list) but that you don't have to book. This was more valuable to us than the gift card, actually!

Interesting that the AK models are still up. I wonder why.

What else would they have instead? They will probably become Poly rooms eventually

We were just on the DVC tour this past week.

We also received the three fast passes per person in our party, plus a $50 gift card (we used that toward our huge dinner bill at
    Teppan Edo that evening!). LOL

The models are Aulani, GF and AKL. We were told there is still a very small amount of purchases available at AKL. I agree with the previous poster, this will likely be converted to a Poly model once it is time.

If you go on the tour, be prepared! The GF models are GORGEOUS. Had we not already planned on buying in there, the tour would have been enough to convince us!

Once we signed, we received a cute canvas DVC bag and an invitation to the New Members breakfast at the Top of World lounge at BLT this morning. I am sitting on the Magical Express now, on our way back to airport, remember the beautiful views and delicious breakfast! LOL

We booked our GF trip for next June before we checked out of our room at the Wilderness Lodge and will be waiting for the seven month window to open up for Easter 2015 to book at another resort. Glad we bought Annual passes! LOL

Can DVC members take the tour? Is it ok to ask to take the tour?

i have never heard of DVC members getting fast passes/gift cards. might happen but i would not expect it.

historically, DVC members have had an "open house" time set aside to go and look at the models. i think it used to be 5-7pm. not sure what they do now. just ask at one of the kiosks and let them know you are a DVC member already.

Do you have to schedule an appointment to take the tour or can you just go to SSR to take it? We will be there this weekend and we are not members yet but we are in the resale process.

When I was at Disney World in January, I asked about taking the tour at a kiosk in EPCOT. When I got around to the fact that I was already a member, they said that they couldn't take me over there (I'd have to get myself there), and I would need to schedule my tour for the next day.

I've only been to the office at SSR to get my member card (I finished my purchase a week before my first DVC stay). I bought resale, looking only at the model on the Boardwalk, so it would have been nice to see the models. I was leaving the next day, so it wasn't an option.

I think when I go this January, I'll get my friend to act interested and see what happens. And if they ask my name, I just won't tell them how to spell it, so they can't find me in the system.
