Are the photographers from Disney or an outside company? Will they take pictures with your camera as well (like the CM's in the parks do)? How much are the pictures?

The photographers are an outside concessionaire -Shutters. In most cases, besides the photographer, there is a CM assisting. The CM is the one who will use your camera to take your picture. Occasionally, there is no CM assisting. In that case the photographer will not use your camera.

    Individual prices are:
    8X10 - $19.95
    6X8 - $12.95

    The packages are 10 ($149.95) and 20 ($249.95) photos.

The length of cruise CD cost varies with length of cruise. The prices I've seen are:
7 night $349.95; 4 night $299.95; 3 night $249.95. For an additional $50.00 you can get all the photos on the CD printed. Special CD prices – 14 night $399.95/$75.00 for prints plus 100 CDs max for cruise.

The 10 & 20 photo package can be either prints or the CD with 10 or 20 photos unlocked for your access once home.

Shutters photographers are prohibited from taking a picture with your camera. DCL CMs are available when helping a character. They will be glad to take a picture with your camera. Note that there a lot of photo opportunities with characters, but there are a lot of opportunities where Shutters operates by themselves - at CC they wonder around, at the MDRs, and during evenings with special backdrops.

Regarding the photos on CD - all pictures taken by Shutters will include special borders. This makes them very hard to crop to different sizes. Also, note that the 10 or 20 pictures on CD option will include ALL of the pictures - you'll be able to select the ones you want to unlock when you get home and have access to the full resolution version of it.

    Hope it helps.
