Thinking of bopping down for a quick visit tomorrow, does anyone know how the "Spring Break" crowds have been this week?

Thanks for any information.

Susy

They are really heavy at DL and DCA has a decent amount of people. The big rides are pushing an hour wait at DL while the rides a DCA are 25 mins at the most..

Any guesses on crowds NEXT week? My daughter still has another week of intersession next week and I'm wondering if they'll be any better after Easter or if plenty of schools have that week off too...

I would say starting the April 23rd crowds will be back to normal. Some kids are starting Spring Break tomorrow while others start last Friday...

We were there April 8-14 and the last few days were really crowded. It was difficult to walk around in Disneyland, especially in Fantasyland and Toontown. The wait times were long - Splash Mountain had a stand-by line wait of 115 minutes around 2pm on Friday the 13th. I overheard a girl tell her boyfriend that the wait was an hour and 15 minutes instead of calculating that it was actually an hour and 55 minutes! We had a theme park view from the Grand Californian Hotel and the Grizzly River Run had wait times of around 35 minutes in the morning and evening, but over an hour in the afternoons. Fast pass was very effective for us.

...or, at least the wisdom in the Birnbaum guide, says the two weeks after Easter are pretty crowded, and then things thin out until Memorial Day.

Which sounds good to me, since I'll be arriving May 4th! :D
