We are planning a fairly last minute, surprise trip to Disney for our kids the week of April 5 - April 12. I know that this is holiday season, but I'm wondering about the crowds immediately after Easter weekend. We were there the week after three years ago when Easter fell in mid-April, and found the crowds very managable. This time, I'm wondering if it is going to be absolutely crazy.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Can't change the dates because of school. Just wondering if it is going to be totally, crazily nuts that week so we can plan accordingly.

Thank you!

Yes, it is going to be crazy crowded. Other than Christmas week, you will be at WDW the busiest week of the year. If you plan on any sit-down meals, I would get on the Disney dinins reservations website NOW and try to get something. Most of the popular place and character meals will already be booked up. Plan to get to the parks at rope drop and use those Fastpasses.
