OK - I did it. I bought myself some Crocs. My son has loved them forever, my sister swears by them, one of her sons is totally in love with his. I have seen them many, many times and they are UGLY. No way was I going to buy some.

However..... I changed my mind and bought a pair. I love them! They are so comfy - okay, still butt ugly for sure, but comfy. I went a little crazy and bought my son a new pair.

Unfortunately, the first pair I bought for myself were too big. I thought my son could use them then, but nope - too small for him. Okay - well, they should fit my hubby then. Yep, they do. The issue is he is not appreciating the iconic nature of these shoes! Of course, I had to buy lime green ones and he is just horrified by that - but come on! Try them, wear them - at least once, for me?? He says he "might wear them" to wash the car, but that's it :confused3 Please, if I can do it, so can you!!

I love my Crocs! They are all I wear at DL. The only problem with Crocs is they can become a bit slick if the sidewalk is wet, :scared: so if its raining outside walk very cafefully.

:cool1: We love them! We went on a trip to Dl last year, adn we drove down there.. We got to walking around the park, and DH is wearing his WORK shoes. :headache: He works in a machine shop, and we are cruising around DL and he is wearing big clunky WORK BOOTS!!

Apparently, when we were loading up the car, he had left his tennis shoes on the living room floor. :headache: So... instead of leaving the park, I convinced him to just get a pair of Crocs.;) now he digs them!:lmao: but ONLY for Disneyland. I guess he is just to cool t wear them like I do. :lmao:

Are the Crocs they sell in DL the real Crocs? I have tried some generic versions on my feet and haven't been impressed. Are the Disney version really Crocs? And do they cost much more than buying them outside the park? Where is the best place to buy Crocs anyway :confused3

Glad you like them. I love to tease my niece about wearing her lime green Crocs. She keeps telling me they wouldn't fit. She is five now.

I would probably be with your DH. I have tried them on a couple of times but they don't feel good to me. Guess they don't have enough arch support or somethingl.

I love my crocs! I tried them for the first time last year. They were the most comfortable pair of shoes I took. (I tool 3 pairs) I am now a firm believer because I did not end up with aching feet or a single blister after 10 days of walking! Yep, I have to agree, They are still ugly though.

For this year's upcoming trip in November I have convinced my DH to give em' a try. They have a bunch of new styles for men on their website that look more "manly". (I would have to say that DH would probably draw the line at lime green!) We got him a pair of the Yukon and Santa Cruz. The SC do not even look like a croc but have the same footbed. He is already bragging about how comfortable they are. I can't wait to see if they work wonders for him at DL!

I got my first pair of Croc's at DL, and yes, they are the real Croc brand. They are comfy, but need to be broken in wearing socks. At least, they did for me. I got really, really bad blisters at DL in my new Crocs. I got a pair of the Minnie Jane's this time around, and I am wearing them this week to break them in before we head out Tuesday.

Overall, they are way less ugly when you see how comfy they are. And, they are coming out with newer, cuter styles all the time! The original Crocs, though? Still ugly!

Another croc lover!! I have had them since first coming out, I have 3 pair and 2 pair generic. I wear only crocs to disneylnad!!

you have almost convinced me......do the minnie janes run true to size i see no half sizes. Also has anyone bought the minnie janes at a store not on-line, any idea where I could try them on?

Me too! I want to try them on also! My DH and I will be in the parks 4/27-29. Maybe I can try them on there?

Tell him that you will decorate them up real fancy with jewels so that they will look pretty.:rotfl2: He might end up liking them just the way they are!:rotfl:

We have crocs Kiosks inside our malls that carry the Minnie Janes. You could also just try on the normal mary janes since the only thing different is the mouse ears I beleive. Our Macy's and Dilliards both carry them. I just got a new pair of Prima's for my May trip and I am LOVING them! Way cuter than my Caymans and just as comfy!

Minnie Jane's do run true to size. And, if you can find a Crocs kiosk or a Ladies Foot Locker, you should be able to try them on there.

I did put some butterfly Jibbitz on my (black :lmao:) pair of Crocs and he said - "You actually MEANT to add that??" Very funny! I do have a very colorful pink, purple, and orange daisy that I think would be just STUNNING with the lime green ones! He would really love me then, huh??!!

I finally broke down and ordered myself a pair of lavendar Mary Janes this past Monday. I need a bit of variety for walking shoes when we go to DL next month and I keep reading how Crocs are a must have. I'm hoping they fit right. The website I ordered from has free return shipping, so I'm not too worried about it. (Just super impatient about them getting here!!!)
My kids both have Disney crocs I bought them on a whim last summer. DS's pair still fits, but I think I'll have to buy DD a new pair before we go now. princess:

I agree, Crocs are ugly. But I kept hearing how comfy they are, so I bought a pair. The only way I could justify it, though, was if they had the Mickey-head cut-outs, instead of just circular holes.

Mine are a little big, but they do the job and are totally comfy. I've never had Croc at DL before, but plan on bringing them this time. Last time, I was an idiot and wore sandals. I've never seen my feet swell up like that. I remember standing in the hotel laundry room at 1 AM on the 3rd day of our trip, waiting for the dryer to finish, and just wanting to cut my feet off, they hurt so bad.

I LOVE my crocs! I have the mickey head ones! And I have a pair of Mary jane's, but they seem to be more narrow than the others and they tend to rub. So if you have wide feet you might want to try them on first.

I LOVE my Crocs! Have had them for about a year and a half and wear them everywhere, esp. Disney. However, I will be wearing them next week there (yay!) with socks because at WDW last year, they rubbed the top of my foot. (my feet swell a lot when I walk). We are leaving in the morning, and guess what. DH decides he wants a pair. So he goes and buys them today at Sports Authority. Brings them home, and they are Arkansas Razorbacks Crocs. YUCK! We are huge UT Vols fans, and I yelled why did you buy those? He said because they were the only ones $10 off. It figures!

LOL

Are your treads worn down? Crocs are supposed to be made for walking on wet surfaces. Mine don't start slipping until the treads are pretty worn off.

yeah I slipped on my bootie in the rain. . . I LOVE my crocs. . . i actually got myself a new pair while there in march. . my husband loves his crocs, of course he would only get the pirate ones. . . i have the white and the black mickey ones. .. I actually wear mine with socks cuz I cannot stand my feet to get all icky feeling. . . I have arthritis in my feet, as does my husband, and we can walk all day in those suckers without our footsies barking.
