CP over? Got stuff to get rid of?

Arriving by plane on 1/17/11. Need a TV. Any CP leaving soon wanting to sell their TV? I have friends in the area that can pick up now.

Are CP programs staggered with participants around all the time, or does everyone leave followed by a lull comparable to college semesters and breaks?

Could your friends go in and put a note on a bulletin board so they can be contacted and they could pick up a TV set before you arrive?

If you will be subscribing to cable or satellite services or if you have one of those digital TV over the air converter boxes, then any old TV will do and old TV's can be picked up for next to nothing.

they are always around. For example, most people on this past fall program are leaving the first week of january, and the 10th is when the spring people start arriving. Also, those people from the fall program who choose to extend stay for a few more months so they will be there when the new CPs arrive.

I had 5 roommates. No one brought a TV. Apartment across the hall? 5 people, 5 TVs. They were not willing to share, despite our numerous efforts. haha

We went to a thrift store, bought a TV for 20 bucks. Best 20 bucks spent.
