Well it helps that we love the BC to begin with, so CL only makes it more special for us. Look for Neil and I believe "Vilma" when you're there and I think you'll be very pleased. They both appear to be experienced and went out of their way to make our trip special.
I will remember to keep a look out for them and if they are regular Club Level Cast Members I am sure that I will see them.

TJA,
I forgot to ask when you arrived were you meet by a Cast Member who then brought you to the lounge so you could check-in?

Yes, we were. We were escorted up to the 5th floor and checked in with Neil. They were quite busy during our stay, but we were very pleased we received both our requests (full balcony and daybed). I hope you enjoy your stay there! Just beware the lounge is probably a lot smaller than what you're used to at CR and not sure about the size of BW lounge, but the BC lounge does tend to get a bit crowded if during a busy time. We personally don't mind this factor.

Thanks for that reply and I realize the Beach Club lounge is smaller, however the Boardwalk lounge is also not that big when you factor in their total amount of tables and there were a few times when there wasn't any tables available in the morning for breakfast this past December. However I am guessing that's because we were there before Christmas and it brings in more people, the way you said more people were at the Beach Club for Spring Break. The Contemporary is about the same but it's hard to compare the size of their lounge since they took out 2 - 3 rooms to build it, so it's a different set up then the Boardwalk.

Ok good, then you should be fine with the size of the BC lounge. That is the main complaint I read about here on the Dis, but it really didn't bother us at all. We plan to try the BWI CL next April, so I'll be curious to hear your opinion on how it compares to the BC CL.

CRResortFan... i saw in one of the fridge photos you posted that they had juice boxes on the top shelf... are those standard at other CLs? i do not recall them from the GF but would be over the moon if they were available at BWI...

For now, though, we booked a bounceback for Poly CL -- our first stay in Hawaii at Poly and we can't wait! Bounceback was as reported on here, 40% off deluxes including CL.

That is a nice bounceback offer!!! Congrats to you for getting it and taking advantage of it. I am wondering... do you remember what dates the offer is good for??

TIA

This is kind of funny and just a little tidbit only us DISers would probably care about, but the hard boiled eggs were not sliced this time! I had them every morning thinking that it was just an oversight on their part, but no slicing this whole trip! They were still on those cute little dishes looking lovely, though. :thumbsup2

I booked GV for Poly CL. But there is still lots of time to change my mind (lol) but at least I have it booked. Last time we stayed at Poly, we stayed in just a normal GV room and did the DxDDP, and I clearly remember each day sitting on the beach looking at the Hawaii building just wishing I had booked CL!

That is interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about that, umm, oversight?

Have a great trip to the Poly in your GV/CL-possibly-LV/CL room!

do you remember what dates the offer is good for??

The dates going forward are:
April ~ entirely blacked out
May ~ 8-27, 31
June ~ 1-4
July ~ entirely blacked out

September ~ 1-30
October ~ 1-8, 23-29
November ~ 13-19, 27-30
December ~ 1-3, 11-17

I totally agree. As long as I'm with my boyfriend he will spoil me with great beers once I turn 21. I probably won't like most of them or any of them. :rotfl: I have learned a lot about beer (more than I ever thought I would) just from being around him and his cousin for nearly 2 years. I promise to come back with a full report! My birthday is two weeks from today! :)

Your trip is a little over 2 weeks away as well:cool1:

We just returned from BC CL lagoon view and it was fabulous! We had room 5663 and thought it was in a perfect location with an outstanding view. If you are outside walking towards the entrance of BC, our room was right in the middle with the widest balcony facing the lagoon of course. We had a perfect view of what I believe was Fantasmic fireworks (we only saw them 2 nights and both nights were scheduled Fantasmic shows....). There was a daybed and of course the full balcony. CM standouts were Neil and I believe her name is Vilma. Vilma remembered us from last trip and she is absolutely wonderful. Neil was new to us, though he was very experienced, and he created some disney magic for my twin girls on their birthday. He left 2 minnie mouse white chocolate statues and white chocolate covered strawberries for each girl along with a nice card. He also made them great birthday badges all decorated and fancy!

The breakfast items were outstanding -- oatmeal constantly kept replenished, hard boiled eggs, danish, muffins, breads, cereal, juices. Afternoon snacks included nut mixes, gummie fish, yogurt covered pretzels, chips & dip. Evening appetizers were wonderful. They always had 2 hot appetizers -- the chicken skewers, bacon wrapped scallops, crab item, spinach & cheese filled item, pork wontons I believe. Plus the normal cheeses and veggies, apples and caramel, pb&j mixtures, rolls, crackers. One night they had tuna and I believe mussells, in addition to the 2 hot appetizers. Desserts were okay -- we found a few things we really enjoyed.

Crowd level...well....mornings were very packed. I think due to being April and spring break for some people (like us...). CM's were wonderful trying hard to keep tables clean and food replenished. There were some usual ill-mannered people that you just have to wonder about :confused3, but for the most part we enjoyed the people in the lounge and met some really nice families. We will most definitely be back! For now, though, we booked a bounceback for Poly CL -- our first stay in Hawaii at Poly and we can't wait! Bounceback was as reported on here, 40% off deluxes including CL.

Welcome home! Thank you for the review, and I agree it's nice to see a great trip report :thumbsup2 Nice bounceback BTW. Can't wait to hear about the Poly CL as well

Hi y'all
So the YC IPO said we didn't need to fill out the questionnaire. So I'm curious what was on it? Did we not need to do it because we booked after 180 days?

Do you think I just got the wrong person that day and should ask if they need me to fill it out?

Me thinks you got a lazy one. :headache: A PVI isn't necessarily something you "must" fill out, but it certainly is handy. As Cinderumbrella indicated, you list your arrival time, any ADR requests, tee times, spa services, etc. that you would like for them to handle. You can even make any special room requests, note birthdays/anniversaries and the like on your PVI.

Of course, you don't need a form to do that. You could simply e-mail the CL IPO with all of the information and/or requests. We have always found it easier to e-mail without following the form.

If you have any of the above that you would like IPO to handle for you, I would shoot an e-mail and either spell out your requests or request a PVI form to complete.

CRResortFan... i saw in one of the fridge photos you posted that they had juice boxes on the top shelf... are those standard at other CLs? i do not recall them from the GF but would be over the moon if they were available at BWI...
Those were only in the Atrium Club fridge at the Contemporary and the Innkeepers Club lounge Boardwalk Inn didn't have them.
