Barb, sorry about missing sending you WPC yesterday, I sent it when I was back from the Halloween party last night.

Alice & Snow were at Downtown Disney yesterday, where they had lunch at...



WOLFGANG PUCK CAFE


First up are the menu pics...

Bread Basket

Fresh Mozzarella & Proscuitto - basil, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and cracked pepper

Tomato Bruschetta - Goat cheese, pesto, basil, shaved parmesan


Alice said, "I didn't like the mozzarella. Don't know why, I just didn't . Snow doesn't eat prosciutto so she has no comment.
As for the bruschetta, it was delicious. Like, really really good."

BBQ Chicken with cilantro, grilled red onions and smokey bbq sauce

Cavatappi Chicken Alfredo with bacon, peas and parmesan cream sauce



Alice said, "For our mains, we split the BBQ chicken pizza and the chicken Alfredo. I found the BBQ sauce on the pizza to sweet but Snow loved it.
We both enjoyed the chicken alfredo, although the portion was huge. I particularly enjoyed the pasta choice, it made the dish lighter than if it had been linguini."




Now for dessert...

Snickers Marble Cheesecake
Chocolate Graham Cracker Crust, Snicker Crumbs, Caramel, and Chocolate Sauce



Alice said, "For dessert, we both followed the waitress' advice and had the Snickers cheesecake. It was heavenly, and the third best cheesecake I've had in all my Disney trips. (The best was chocolate cheesecake at Artist point a few years ago, and the second was last night at Jiko!)"

Just a reminder that we have another Live Reporter arriving tomorrow...


Smiling Chesire Cat- Rachel , her DH (Brian), and son (Chase), will be returning to Disney World in September and staying at AKL from 9/27 - 10/2. Rachel has started her PDR.



Also I have heard from Lori (vettegirl) and she and her friend, Sue, have checked in at Coronado Springs and are now off to get some lunch!

Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes with macadamia nut butter, pineapple sauce and your choice of ham, bacon or sausage


Ginamarie said, "These were light, fluffy, and delicious with those nuts! They did not need any syrup. I had to get help to finish these. It was three large pancakes!"

Tonga Toast - banana stuffed sourdough bread, rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with Strawberry Compote and your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage


"Picture taken before we got the strawberry compote, which came on the side."

Mickey Pancakes - buttermilk pancakes shaped like you-know-who


"Son already stole a slice of bacon."

Goofy Toast - Only Goofy would fry an egg in the middle of a piece of toast

Aloha Pork Sandwich
Pulled pork with BBQ sauce, pineapple cole slaw, cheddar cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes, served warm on a pineapple-coconut hoagie roll. Served with Polynesian chips​

Here now at Capt Cookes, the pork sandwich is amazing!!!!

This from Alice & Snow...

"So change of plans today. Snow lost her ticket and we didn't discover this until we were waiting for the bus to go to lunch. At first, we thought she just left it in the room but after spending 30 minutes tearing it apart (and canceling our ADR ) we decided it is lost. So lunch was at the resort."



Intermission Food Court

"We both had chicken nuggets with fries, she had a side of cheese and then we got the ice cream cookies for dessert 90 minutes later."


Alice also said, "The nuggets were white meat only, which was nice and the fries were hot and salty (in a good way). While this meal was good, I'm glad I'm not eating it every day!!"

Alice said, "The cookie was HUGE. You choose your cookie and then your ice cream. Amazing use of a snack credit, although ours was considered our dessert. Very good, but more than I could possible eat."​
