I got my PM! I got my PM!

We are so excited for this trip! And I'm so excited to be able to go full out taking pictures of my food. (Yes, it's a little sad..) Hope I can compete with all the wonderful previous posters and food reviews.

    Here's our ADRs:

    -Raglan Road (dinner)
    -1900 Park Fare (breakfast)
    -50s Prime Time Cafe (lunch)
    -'Ohana (dinner)
    -Mama Melrose (lunch, F! package)
    -Crystal Palace (dinner)
    -Les Chefs de France (dinner)
    -Garden Grill (dinner)

I'm letting the 'kids' (DD and her BF) lead the way on QS meals. But they've been warned WPE BETTER be one of the choices.

Thanks for all your hard work, Barb!

I'm thinking about it! I always take food pictures, it's just a question of having time/remembering to send the updates while we're there =)

Trip dates are January 26-February 1st

Woo hoo! I am still on for my January 21-24 trip!

My sister didn't know if she wanted to make any ADR's since her two girls are so picky. I am going to see her tonight for her birthday so I'm trying to convince her to do at least one character meal!

Hi Barb! I took a few days off from the DIS (not sure what I was thinking!), and I just saw your note wishing me a Merry Christmas. Well I hope you and your family had a lovely holiday! Thanks again for keeping this thread alive, it must be a lot of work for you.

Here's hoping that 2013 brings many more delicious pictures of WDW food!

Hi all. I am totally excited about doing a live report. I just hope my camera skills are up to par. I think I have it all figured out now. This will be what my DH has been longing for, a trip with just the two of us. Our friends aren't going so DH wont be so embarrassed while I photograph my food. Since we are not doing a signature every night we have added one more TS place. Here is the "final " lineup.

    Rose & Crown
    Starring Rolls
    O'Hana
    Flame Tree BBQ
    I'll Mulino
    House of Blues
    Beaches & Cream
    Kimono's
    Bongo's

I hope to.get some great snacks in there as well.

    Til then,
    Niki

We did Yachtsman with a 7 month old she actually slept the whole time she was in her infant carrier in the stroller and they just had us take the stroller right to our table and and made sure they put us in a spot where alot of people wouldn't be walking by. Also we loved the meal there I dream about the onion rolls!!! Have a great trip!pixiedust:

Thanks for PM! So exciting, although it still feels a long way off since we are going at the end of January. My DH and I usually go with the flow and do not make ADRs, but we did schedule California Grill since it will be closing for refurb.

I love all the responses from the January team members. It looks like it's going to be a really great month. :thumbsup2

Ok, now let's bring on some live updates, starting with our First of the Day from Debra (debrapagliasotti).

She and her family had Christmas dinner at Epcot's...

    Tutto Italia

    For their appetizer, they had...

    Tortino Di Zucchine
    Baked zucchini, pomodoro, mozzarella, parmesan

Debra said, "We had 2 orders of this. So good and full of flavor."

    Bread

Then for her entree, Debra had...

    Cannelloni al Forno
Baked cannelloni pasta, spinach, ricotta, bechamel, parmesan cheese

Debra said, "I ate all but one bite. Would definitely order again!"

Then Debra also sent in an update from her lunch today at Animal Kingdom's...

    Tamu Tamu Refreshments

Turkey and Swiss on Focaccia served with chipotle mayonnaise and chips

Debra said, "This was really good and a large portion. Dessert was cheesecake. Hubby really liked it, but I thought dessert was just ok."

Next we have a couple of updates from Amy (AppleSister1).

She said, "There was a sudden downpour yesterday at Epcot so we ducked into the wine bar at Italy..."

    Tutto Gusto

Amy first sent some menu pics...

Sadly Amy's food pics from Tutto Gusto turned out really dark due to the lack of any natural light inside Tutto Gusto. :worried:

But here is what she said, "Six of us shared two of the cheese plates...yum!! Then we had Seafood salad and asparagus, which were also yum!

"Here is a very dark and blurry shot of DNephew2 with bread from the cheese plate! :lmao:
It was hard to get good pics here because it's so dark, but we all loved it!"
    :thumbsup2

"Then AppleSister3 and I visited La Cava de Tequila and had this..."

    Cucumber Margarita
El Mayor premium silver Tequila, orange liqueur, caramelized pineapple juice, fresh basil, cucumber and agave nectar, served on the rocks

Amy said, "This was yum, with chili pepper salt to cut the sweetness."

    Next we have AppleSister3's...

    Classic Margarita
El Mayor premium silver Tequila, orange liqueur and lime mix, served on the rocks with salt on the rim

Then Amy's group had dinner at...

    Teppan Edo

    "Brother-in-law's sushi appy."

    "Tempura appy...nephew1 approved!" :thumbsup2

Sorry that I wasn't able to get any updates posted yesterday. I am hosting a family Christmas party today and was busy preparing for it. It's going to be our 3rd Annual Christmas Around the World Party with food and wine from France, Italy, Germany, Latin America, China/Japan, South Africa, Australia/New Zealand, and Greece, in addition to the U.S. I'll try to remember to take pics, but if it's like the last two years...well, let's just say I go into "crazy busy" mode come party time. :lmao: But anyway, I will post just a couple of the updates which I received yesterday, while I drink my morning coffee and mentally prepare myself for the day. ;)

Our First Update of the Day was actually a continuation of an update which I posted on Thursday night from Amy (AppleSister1). At that time she sent me pics of their appetizers, but then yesterday I received pics of their entrees. So I'm going to now post pics of their entire meal.

Amy's group had dinner on Wednesday at...

    Teppan Edo

    "Brother-in-law's sushi appy."

    "Tempura appy...nephew1 approved!" :thumbsup2

    And now for their entrees...

    Nephew1's Shrimp

    Nephew2's Steak & Shrimp

Amy said, "I had the scallops, as did AppleSister2. BIL had steak and AppleSister3 had shrimp. We all loved this meal!" :thumbsup2
