Hi everyone!

Think I am going to have to give up on my live updates. This disney wifi is killing me! Haven't been able to send or receive email since yesterday. It just can't handle the graphics. We'll see if it even allows me to post!


Wait! I think I figured something out! I'm back in. Woo hoo!

We received our final update last night from Susan (jecskc).


She said, "We are home now ...

Here is our last two meals we had on our trip. Thanks so much for asking me again!! The wifi at Boardwalk was soooo much better than Saratoga. I am so happy I was able to redeem myself !!

"For Breakfast we ate at the Tomorrowland Terrace. They are serving breakfast items since th Bakery is closed for the Starbucks refurb."


TOMORROWLAND TERRACE



"DD had the mini waffles."

Mini Waffles with Fruit (1 of 2 served)


"There were two of these, but she already ate one before I got a photo. She loved these."






"The rest of us each got a Ham, Egg and Cheese Croissant Sandwich."

"We all liked it a lot. We would definitely eat here again. The park was VERY crowded and there was plenty of seating in this area."






"For lunch we ate..."


LIBERTY TREE TAVERN




"DH and I split the Pot Roast. It came out already split for us."

Braised beef in a cabernet wine and mushroom sauce served with mashed potatoes and garden vegetables


"That was just my half. And it was the perfect amount. We really enjoyed this dish. We would get it again."





"DS got an Angus Burger."

Angus Chuck Cheeseburger
topped with bacon and cheddar, served with tavern fries


"He enjoyed this as well. These fries were perfect. Nice and thick. Crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside."






"DD got the Kids' Macaroni and Cheese."

"She ate all of her dinner for once, and she said she really liked it."





"The kids each got an ice cream sundae."

"I loved the red, white and blue sprinkles on top."






"DH and I split the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake."

"He handed me the plate and told me to eat what I wanted. It took a great deal of effort to leave him exactly half. It was sooooo good !!! I told DH that the fact that I left him half was proof of how much I loved him.

We had a great meal here and will definitely go back."​

Note from jabead: I'm awarding 5 points for this first update from the Tomorrowland Terrace. I will also award the first reporter (who has had the beignets at POFQ) and who reviews (compares) the ones that are being offered at Tomorrowland Terrace.

RESTAURANT MARAKESH




Lauren said, "So first of all, from our dinner at Restaurant Marrakesh. The belly dancer comes out about once an hour, it seems, so you're pretty much guaranteed that you'll see her at some point during your meal. She dances by herself for a while, then pulls kids out of the crowd and teaches them some moves."

We ate in the Ballroom at Be Our Guest. I took a pic of the place setting...then everyone took apart their napkins and spent the rest of the meal figuring out how to roll them back up into pretty roses."

"The ballroom is gorgeous! There was an empty table next to us so I snapped a pic so you could see what you might be walking up to at dinner time."

"At the back of the ballroom there are huge windows with mountains and snow falling behind them (it's a terrible picture!). "

"The west wing is much smaller and rather dark. We had a late ressie, so after we ate I was able to get this picture of an almost-empty West Wing. And that's my brother looking at the enchanted rose. The third room was closed off, so no pictures."

"But we walked by the lunch time kiosks to go see Beast and I took a pic of the lunch menu."

"We stopped by Gaston's quickly on Friday so I could take some pictures, so I got one of the menu there too."

This is such an amazing forum!!! My husband and I have been eagerly reading for over a week! (We did a cupcake crawl on our honeymoon to WDW in April and have been in search of better restaurants since then!) We're going on our 1 year anniversary trip Feb 16-23rd, are you still in need of reporters? I'd love to pay it forward! We're also Premiere pass holders that live in So. California and visit DL regularly if anyone has requests for food let me know!

Awesome! We have a bunch of ADR's, many I haven't seen on here in a while.

DH and I are heading into DL tonight to ride Small World Holiday before it leaves tomorrow. We're going to eat at The Plaza so I'll send some pics of our favorite meal!

She said, "Yesterday we went to Downtown Disney and picked up my very favorite snack, "Create your own Treat", from..."


Goofy's Candy Co.



"My go to is the Caramel Apple with milk chocolate, pecans, and white drizzle. It will last most of the week in the villa."



So let's start with a caramel apple...

Then add the milk chocolate...

Bury it in pecans...

And then it magically turns into a pretzel...

Just kidding!

To which she replied, "Yep. Here is my almost gone Bloody Mary."

So sadly I said goodbye today to Chris. And then about 1/2 hour later I received the final update from Becky (BlovesC).
It was a sad, sad morning.
