We are checking in Saturday to the BWI club level. We have stayed club at Poly, AKL, and CR pre-online check-in and went to a special check-in area.

At BWI, will it be the same way, or should I utilize online check-in in hopes of expediting the process?

At BWI, there is also a separate club level checkin on the 4th floor. Make sure you tell someone at the entrance of BWI that you are staying club level, and they will send someone down to take you up to check in.

I never bother with online check in--it takes less than 5 minutes in the Innkeepers Club.

You are going to love BWI's club level--I have also stayed at the same ones you have, and BWI's cast members have all the other club levels beat!

Thanks for the info. I am really looking forward to our first stay at an Epcot resort. I have two rooms booked and am taking my three youngest children without DH (the older kids can't miss school), but I have a friend coming along to help and have also invited my sister and her DD.

9 days/8 nights at Disney!! We are SO ready for our vacation to start!!!:yay:

The 1st time we stayed Club Level at the Boardwalk Inn this pat August as we were walking to our room Jennifer who is one of the Club Level Cast Members meet us with a folder of the maps and etc, along with our room keys and we did the check-in right inside our room. It couldn't have gone any better and it was the best check-in we ever had.

The 2nd time we stayed Club Level there which was last month our favorite Club Level Cast Member JJ was there waiting at the elevators for us and he showed us where our room was, then after that we checked-in with him in the lounge.

I introduce myself outside, sometimes there's someone outside to escort you to your room or they call ahead and someone meet you inside. Sometimes you need to go to the concierge desk inside the lodge. Everything is always ready (room keys) when we arrive, even our rooms. The only thing I need to do is have a CC set up for charging.

I never done on line check-in. I do e-mail the CM ahead though with any request, let them know when were arriving, and introduce myself and my family. I book through a agent and she makes all my ADR so there's no need of that service.

I've never stayed at BWI CL but will be in May, am also looking forward to our stay there.

We arrived by car rather than Magical Express. Since they do not maintain a club level desk downstairs, like GF does, we got in line to check in. That took a while. They did eventually send us up to the club level floor. It was all rather disorganized we thought.

Like Jackemail said all you have to do is have your driver tell the guard you are staying Club level and they will notify someone that will meet you downstairs. It is very convenient, not complicated at all, and after you have stayed once and go back for more trips you will know your way around anyway:goodvibes You will love your stay at the BWI. The castmembers are excellent. The resort is so convenient. Being able to walk to two parks can't be beat. Nighttime is a fun atmosphere. Have fun:thumbsup2

I forgot to sat that in my two Club Level experiences when checking arriving at the Boardwalk Inn is that the head Bellman always came up to us and said if our room was ready or not, because he had a list of those guests arriving that day with Club Level reservations and their room numbers. Then he said which bellman would be taking us to the lounge so we could check-in.
