Clothes for the Parks

Hi all!
I haven't posted on here in a while, but I figured this is the best place to ask-
I'm going to WDW from May 27-June 5, and I've never been during the summer before. What do you suggest I bring to wear? I'm actually planning on clearing out a good chunk of my wardrobe this week and going shopping this weekend, so I'll be getting stuff for Disney then. Any suggestions would be great! Oh, and I'm a 17 year old girl Thanks!

Also, any other suggestions for things to bring other than clothes are welcome

Hmm, I don't really know how to describe my style, it's pretty... normal... haha really I'll wear pretty much anything! Ilove forever 21, h&m, jcp, etc. if that helps!

Okay Awesome, well this is the first one. I gave a few options for headwear and accesories. For earrings, I'd definetly wear studs I lost one on SPM once. It sucked. As for a hat, if you use a messanger bag, it shouldn't be a problem cause they do fly off. I love messanger bags cause they fit well in the rides. and if its later in the day always have a sweater in your bag cause florida's weather is EXTREMELY temperamental during the summer.

Crop tops, I got a few at Forever21 for a good price! Just shirts that have light material and have that little baggy look. That's really "in" and is great for the humid/hot summer.

Maybe some cute summery dresses? Shorts and capris. I really don't like wearing pants/jeans to Disney during the summer(I tried to avoid it as much as possible!).
I usually bring an outfit or two(depending on your plans) that's kinda dressy for if you have a nice dinner somewhere. And then I bring a few beachy things for the pool.

Bring a light sweater or cardigan just in case!

For shoes, just whatever is comfy for you. I would bring a pair of comfy flip-flops/sandals, sneakers, and just whatever else you think is cute, but won't kill your feet.

Okay next, this is more girly, I would suggest wearing the under tank if/ you have trouble with tops being too big, or tops being too revealing. Try to wear shoes that have straps or easily stay on for rides where your feet are free. Also when your walking for a while and its really hot flip flops can be painful cause the plastic heats up with the friction+general heat. I prefer sandals because they have straps that can be tightened and lossened depneding on how much your feet swell.

Alright so here is one with a skirt, normally I don't wear shorter skirts cause they always seem to fly up at the wayy wrong time, but this one is a little longer and i bet it would be really comfortable. As for the shoes, if you are crazy you could wear wedges, they tend to be easy to walk it but thats up to you. I have that sweater. It is awesome. and I want that hat. FYI I've been trying to find things under 50 so you can either buy the things you like or find something really similar.

I just went through all of forever 21's graphic tops and tanks and there are FIFTEEN Disney related shirts there... if only they would all be at my local store!

Okay unless you want more I'll make this my last. I love this dress I think longer skirts are fun for disney cause they don't fly up as much and are very fun in pictures. That being said depending on the fabric they can be a teensy bit stuffy, bit if your like me and can't stop twirling, it'll be just fine And the floppy hat is a must, I'd wear one if just for the sun protection. Cause I always seem to burn my scalp in florida x.x Did you like the outfits I showed?

Shorts, light tee-shirts, tank tops, capris, light dresses.

Also make sure they're light colours, yellow, light blue, light grey, ect. I'd stay away from white unless you are certain you won't get wet.

Also, a tip. During summer we get a LOT of storms, so make sure you pack or buy a poncho!

Kohl's has some cute Disney tank tops and shirts right now- I just bought a few, and was really happy with them. I did have to order some online- my store didn't have them all in stock.

Its really hot in the summer, so stick with tanks and shorts and maybe a short skirt or two. With sandals and sneakers and flip flops. Sneakers, i always bring because my feet always start hurting. But bring it in case ur feet start hurting!

the white tank can be replaced with another one if u want.

You could get some Teva Mush flip flops so your feet wont get sore. They are Great!
