Closing Time!

Does anyone know the average wait time for *** to send closing docs? I'm just wondering if this is limited to my purchase or does Magic Vacation Title take long to send closing docs? I'm going on 3+ weeks after passing ROFR and still waiting. I don't remember waiting nearly as long for Mason, Jeffrey Sweet, or even First American.

It took almost a full month for us to get our closing documents from Magic Vacation Title. I personally would not use them again after our experience.

agree, will ask for not them next time for sure. I see other contracts passed ROFR same day and got closing docs within days.... they are so slow.

The pattern that I have seen through this thread is that they do generally take longer than others. I saw some people saying that it was around a month. But you can always reach out to them to see if there is an update.

6/20 here too. I am telling myself that 4th of July pushed it back a day or two and hoping to see my email on Monday.

I am also awaiting a membership email for a deed recorded on 6/21. It has gone beyond being patient to be a lesson in patience! It seems quite a few of us are on the tail of the great ROFR monster sleeping buying frenzy of ‘23. For those that went to ROFR after us, things seem to be moving much more quickly!

I feel you. It's been over 2 weeks, i think, for us and the sellers were the ones who reached out to us (thru the resale company). Thought they would have acted a little quicker.

This has been the worst part! I have a banking deadline quickly approaching and I need to know if I can squeeze in a trip this year or need to save them for next year. Plus my 11 month window is open!

I'm waiting on an SSR contract with a deed recording date of 6/21. When I closed on PVB in April of this year, it took me closer to 3 weeks for my contract to be loaded. Hopefully, we all get news within the next day or so.
