We closed on 10/10 on a 100 point contact at AKL. Title company sent the required transfer docs to DVC on 10/11. I called MS today, and they don't see us yet. Any predictions when we'll be loaded into DVC's system?

You may want to call Member Accounting. They are the folks who get you "built" into the system.

Give Member Admin a call tomorrow afternoon - have your contract number and the Seller's name ready ...

And you may get a nice surprise ... :)

DVC tends to release ROFRs on Tuesday ... and I'm thinking they load new resale contracts on Wednesday ...

Nope, not in the system yet. I guess I will call back next week...

Thanks for all the responses. This is my first time on the buyers end of resale, so I'm just anxious to have this COMPLETELY wrapped up. Like be able to sign in online and see my points! :-)

In the same boat as you Bunni...still waiting patiently. Member Admin still didn't have my information at the end of last week and the person I spoke to was not very pleasant, so I've decided just to sit back and wait until my member packet comes. Hopefully it will be here soon! :coffee:

I don't know if it matters whether you are an existing member or they have to create your membership from scratch, but here's my experience: I'm an existing member. I closed on Monday, Oct. 1, and I noticed my new points on the website on Monday, Oct. 15. The transactions for those points were actually dated Sunday (10/14)!

Our contract closed and was sent to Disney on Monday, 10/1, we received notification that our transfer was complete on 10/9. I called a few days before that and we were not in the system yet. Points loaded and were logged into the member site on 10/10. This was our first contract, we were not existing members.

Congrats to you and Welcome Home!

    Thanks for the welcome Home!

I'm even more anxious to take a WDW trip on this contract. I have a long wait... December 2013. I haven't been since 2009. Seriously dealing with withdrawal :scared1:
