Christmas party questions

Hello all...

We have been to Disney lots of times, but never during Christmas. My wife and I (adults only trip) are coming down one day before we leave for the Bahamas and have purchased the party ticket and I have a few questions..

1. What is the new FP+ stuff, and does it affect the party in any way?

2. What are the attractions/rides not open when the party starts at 7pm?

3. Are there special fireworks for the party?

4. Is there anything special that is NOT TO BE MISSED?

2. Most attractions remain open. (Jungle Cruise, Tom Sawyer Island, and a couple more are closed.)

Special fireworks and special Christmas parade and shows.

Here is the Guide Map...Note: the Guide Map is from the first two parties. Peter Pan's refurb was completed and Peter Pan is now open during the parties.

2. Most attractions remain open. (Jungle Cruise, Tom Sawyer Island, and a couple more are closed.).

The map shows a Jingle Cruise in the Jungle cruise spot? I imagine the elephants with santa clause hats on...lol

Then, it MIGHT be open this year.

1) The party !!!
2) Many people use the party to ride the rides, instead of "doin' the party".
3) IMHO, a complete waste of money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4) There are too many holiday activities to kill time on rides.
. . . performances in ALL lands
. . . cookies and cocoa
. . . characters in holiday outfits
. . . snow on Main Street
. . . Christmas Dance Parties at Cosmic Ray's & Diamond Horseshoe
. . . special party-only merchandise for sale
. . . light show on The Castle
. . . the Christmas Parade
