Ok guys.... Newbie here.. Planning a 2014 MNSSHP trip. I need some expert opinions. I need everyone's choices for each parks sit down and counter service restaurants. All of your ideas and recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Depends on what kind of food you and your family enjoy. Also, who you will be with. Here are my favorites:

MK
sit down--Be Our Guest
counter service--Pecos Bills

Epcot
sit down--Via Napoli
counter service--Les Halles(France)

Studios
sit down--Mama Melrose
counter service---um...well there is nothing awesome except for starring rolls which is limited menu

AK
sit down--Yak and Yeti
counter service---I got nothing...some people like Flame Tree

Good luck!:confused3

So many we are trying this December and I am looking forward to adding more to the list of recommendations!

Good luck and enjoy!

Magic Kingdom:
QS: Sleepy Hollow (waffle sandwiches!)...except those aren't good for meal plan credits, so if you need to use credits, my vote is Pecos Bill's.
TS: Be Our Guest or Liberty Tree Tavern

Epcot:
QS: The bakery in Norway (La Kringla something-or-rather?)
TS: Chefs de France, Via Napoli, Biergarten

Animal Kingdom:
QS: Flame Tree BBQ
TS: Tusker House (pre-park opening breakfast buffet!)

Hollywood Studios:
QS: Pizza Planet
TS: Hollywood Brown Derby. Or Sci-Fi Dine-In.

Some information about what your family likes and dislikes, what ages are any kids, and how big is the group would be helpful. You'll get a wide range of answers, so hopefully you'll be able to narrow down what would be ideal for your family.

So, these are my favorites (based on an adult's viewpoint, who likes lots of kinds of food).
MK
-CS: Be Our Guest (lunch) or Cosmic Rays (any meal)
-TS: Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch) or CRT (dinner)*
*I like CRT for the experience and atmosphere. The food is okay, but not outstanding.

Epcot
-CS: Les Halles or Kringla
-TS: Le Cellier (Sig) or Via Napoli

DHS
-CS: Starring Rolls (cupcakes!)
-TS: Hollywood Brown Derby (Sig) or Sci Fi

AK
-CS: Flame Tree (for a meal) or Kusafari Bakery (for cupcakes!)
-TS: Yak & Yeti

DTD
-CS: Cooke's of Dublin
-TS: Raglan Road

Resorts
-CS: Riverside Mill (POR)
-TS: Narcoossee's (Sig) or Boma (breakfast)

We do not do CS so I will list our favorite TS

Epcot:

Teppan Edo
La Hacienda
Coral Reef
Rose & Crown

MK:

The Plaza
Tony's

HS:

Sci-Fi

AK:

Yak & Yeti

DD:

T-Rex

Resorts:

Cape May - Breakfast & Dinner (BC)
Beaches & Cream - (BC)

Definitely check out allears.net for menus and that should help you narrow it down for your specific family.

We tend to eat at the resorts a lot, some of our favorites are:

Downtown Disney: Raglan Road
Epcot: Kringla at Norway for QS (good fresh sandwiches, salad/fruit, bakery item), Garden Grill or Coral Reef for TS
AK: We like Pizzafari for QS, then tend to go to Boma at the AKL for TS
DHS: Sci-Fi for TS, Starring Rolls for QS (closes early, huge cupcakes!)
MK: Cosmic Rays or Columbia Harbour House for QS...again, we go off site to the Poly and eat at Ohana's (best food/value EVER!)

If you're looking for a particular food there's also a great feature right here on the DIS. In the dark blue menubar near the top of this page hover over "dining" and select Menus. On that page, in addition to being able to access all the menus, you can do a search for any food item and it will show you all the places it is served. :disrocks:
