children and photo ids

    Do minors need to have a photo id when flying? DH and I will be flying with them.

    Not unless you are crossing a border.

    Right. In fact, they don't need ID of any kind, photo or not.

    Domestically, the only time you need anything like that would be for a lap child. This would be for your airline, not TSA. Your airline would want proof that your child is under 2 and thus eligible to fly for free as a lap child.
