I just saw a web address for a list of packing under "Welcome Dis"
Bump! Does anyone have a good packing list to share?
Are you looking for something specific?
Types of clothes?
Things to take to the parks?
Other important things?
Sorry in advance for the super long post:
Here's mine, I leave with my DN 11 on Mar 1st for 9 days.
It's basically from onebag.com with additions for WDW.
I organize all my packing necessities into kits and basically leave most of them packed so I just have to double check the kit and toss it in a bag if I go somewhere (fly for work, camping trip at home, WDW).
2-3 pairs pants/capris
Jacket - have to bring to get into airport since it's cold here
Fuzzy socks for relaxing feet at end of day
3+ Cool max socks
2 pr walking shoes (asics gels)
swimsuit cover up
duct tape (travel size small roll if you can get it, great for broken luggage, etc)
novel for plane
safety pins/rubber bands/cord
crystal light packets for water bottles (especially the energy one that has caffeine )
lush solid shampoo
lush solid conditioner
bar of soap (ok, also lush )
humidity hair cream from fructis
Sun care kit (my niece is a redhead so we will probably have a lot)
spray on sunscreen
sunscreen sticks to take to parks
lip balm with spf
moisturizer (with spf)
whatever else you use
Flashlight (super mini)
Travel power strip for recharging cell phone, pda, camera batteries
detergent (woolite travel size and/or tide travel size)
lightweight laundry bag
clothesline for shower
tide to go
Foot Care kit
Pepto bismol tablets
Advil (travel size small tube)
Claritin D 24 hour
Swimmers ear aid
Neosporin (they now have a small travel spray)
Cleaning kit/Food kit
Kleenex travel size
Clorox wipes travel size
Clean wipes travel size
Travel size toilet paper
Sunglasses holder for around neck
Old glasses (last year trip to philly broke a contact and lost screw to glasses)
Eyeglass repair kit
Carry on kit
Cell phone charger
Noise cancelling head phones
Fun kit for DN
ID for DN
Address book (in PDA now)
Stamps for postcards
Post in notes
Possibly collapsed box/envelopes for mailing stuff home
Metal binder clips for keeping curtains closed
Camera kit (I'm amateur but sell some photos so bring way more stuff than most people need)
batteries (extra in plastic bag and must be in carry on)
smaller point and shoot camera
disposable waterproof camera for pool
So far this is fitting in one checked bag (not huge) and one carry on basically for camera stuff but still have to see if I can fit tripod and monopod or just tripod.
If you go to www.allearsnet.com you will find the Ultimate Packing List, it is a bit excessive, however, I still found it very useful. Good Luck planning your trip.
