It depends on if you want to meet specific characters, have a quiet experience or eat in a great atmosphere. I LOVE character meals! I think Tusker House has the best food of any I've eaten at. I can never turn down a meal in the castle with beautiful princesses (gotta ask Cindy about those shoes!) 1900 Park Faire dinner has Cindy and her Prince Charming... Plus her horrid 'steps for some fun. If you tell me what you want to get out of your experience maybe I can help some more...
I love a pre-park open breakfast but it's not the quietest. I've heard that since the change to a character meal for dinner is gets behind early and stays that way. I'd book the last breakfast and be there for the switch to lunch food. I've doing that myself in August to test it out.
I've done breakfast and lunch there before and I'm doing dinner in August. It's a great experience. My lunch was solo and I was seated out of the way looking out over the dinning room. It's great to see the little kids get excited and I love meeting the princesses. Aside from the wishing ceremony (SO FREAKING CUTE) it's a pretty low key meal, all the princesses are announced overhead and swirl out in their ball gowns. It's great to be inside the castle and the dinning room is pretty masculine in its decor (dark woods and coats of arms) and it still has a very exclusive feel.
Oh and you'll get a wand and hubby (I'm guessing) will get a sword and you'll each get a wishing star (I still have mine - I wished to finally go to WDW with a special someone and now we're getting married there!)
