We have reservations for Dinner at Crystal Palace and Donalds Breakfastosauraus. Do we need to get there early to get a good table or does table location not matter. Do the characters walk around or are they just on a stage? Thanks

The characters visit each table individually. Just make sure to have you autograph books and camera ready for when they come by.

Hi Nellie, and welcome to the DIS!

Table location doesn't matter (unless you want to be close to the buffet tables!).

The characters rotate around the restaurant and eventually all of them will get to your table. In some cases two or more will come to your table at the same time. They'll stop, pose for pictures, sign autographs, and amaze you with their "non-verbal communication skills." It's a science that Disney has perfected.

You'll want to make an ADR for both of those rather than "getting there early." Those are two very popular character meals and you may not be able to just walk in.

Enjoy!

Just curious as to how many people attend character dining without children in their party.

This will be our 3rd trip in 2 years. We got married in April of 04 and went to Chef Mickeys. In December we did Chef Mickey's again and LTT. This time we are doing Donalds, LTT, Chef Mickey's for dinner and breakfast, and CP. We have no kids. It's fun...Enjoy...

Just want to add that if you miss the characters (in the restroom, at the buffet) at these particular places (especially CP) when they come around, unless you want to hang out for 45 minutes to an hour, you missed them. Other restruants, they'll come back and catch you later.
