Who have you seen and what were they riding/doing?

Hines Ward yesterday for me at Space Mountain. Saw Seth Rogan last Thanksgiving on Dinosaur.

We've seen Usher, Gary Sinise, and last year (for all you Boston Celtics fans) Mama Allen - Ray Allen's Mom :thumbsup2

Oh I would have loved to seen Gary Sinese *swoon* lol

Saw Bruce Willis quite a few years back at Planet Hollywood in DTD. It was when Disney's The Kid was coming out.

~The only celebrity we saw at Disney was "The Rock!" He was having lunch with his family at the Crystal Palace the same time we were there! The place was packed, too! :goodvibes

We saw Jimmy Carter on New years day getting off of Big Thunder.

2 weeks ago Nicki from Blueboods was having breakfast at the contempo cafe with her family.

We love Hines Ward!! :)

For the college football fans...we saw Kirk Herbstreit and Trev Alberts (and their families) on Toy Story Mania a few years back. Of course they were taken to the front of the line and did not have to get off the ride when it was done and rode it 4 times in a row.

:thumbsup2

I was in the restroom at AS-Sports with Steffi Graff the first year that they were opened. I am not a tennis fan, so I didn't know who she was. My brother, who was waiting outside pointed her out to me after leaving the restroom.

We also saw Don Mattingly (Yankees) during the same trip with his family waiting for a parade. My brother talked with him a few minutes but wanted to avoid drawing attention to him so that he could just enjoy his family.

My friend rode behind Lou Ferrigno on Space Mountain many years ago. Try to picture that one! :lmao:

I have met Wayne Brady and Michael Bolton there..they were doing a PBS special...i believe thats what they said.

Stood next to Bruno Mars in line for the Haunted Mansion in December 2010.

Seen plenty of celebrities, but not at Disney! As you can see, I guess I'm going to have to go there some more before I see anybody!:rotfl:

Many years go I saw Tom Cruise at Pleasure Island. He was filming Days of Thunder at the time. I've got a picture of him. He was loving being the center of attention.

We saw Jon Stewart walking down the street in Frontierland with his family and a cast member escort. The next week there was a picture of Jon and and family at Disney World in People magazine and it said they were there to celebrate his daughter's birthday.

We saw Kelly Ripa. She was shooting a promo at the candy shop on the corner of Main St for Regis and Kelly (at the time).

They had a special Live show at Disney World that week.

For the college football fans...we saw Kirk Herbstreit and Trev Alberts (and their families) on Toy Story Mania a few years back. Of course they were taken to the front of the line and did not have to get off the ride when it was done and rode it 4 times in a row.

My 14yo DS would have loved to have seen Kirk Herbstreit...he wants Kirk's job when he grows up, lol.

We've seen Brett Favre and Lisa Rinna at WDW, and I briefly met Regis Philbin at Disneyland in 2005.

On our last trip, I saw Joe Jonas at SSR getting a golf cart ride to his building. We were at the bus stop across from the building (The Carousel) they stopped at. On the same trip, while in line for Peter Pan, we overheard CM's talking about Courtney Cox being there, but, we never saw her.

This past January was the first time out of the 21 times I've been to WDW that we actually met a celebrity in a non-organized manner (and I've always hoped to). Of course, it was nobody I recognized. We were at Fantasia mini-golf and my dad said he recognized the guy in front of us as a baseball player. He threw out some names and my sister and I were Googling on our phones trying to match names with faces. We finally figured out that it was AJ Pierzynski from the Chicago White Sox!

I think it was about the third hole before my dad got up the nerve to ask for a photo! And since AJ was with his wife and two young children, he offered to let us go ahead of them but we said no. At the end when they were leaving, he and his wife told us to enjoy our vacation! Apparently he's known to have a temper, but he was very friendly to us! :)

Years ago, we did Super Soap Weekend and met a bunch of people. We also saw a now-defunct girl group called Nobody's Angel doing cement hand prints at the GMR. But this year was our first casual encounter. I think I would be excited if I saw someone who I consider really famous, but I would be afraid to stop them and ask for a photo or autograph if they were with their family.

in 2009 we saw chef robert irvine from food network at hollywood studios riding rock n roll rollercoaster...he was super friendly!

A year ago we saw Samantha Brown in EPCOT by France. She was filming another Travel Channel special. Got the opportunity to walk and talk to her while heading over to the boats. She is prettier in person and just a really nice, sweet person.

Also saw Ryan Stiles (comedian from old show "Who's Line is it anyway") at BW.

My favorite is we had gone to WDW for Christmas with our high school (they were marching at MK). Our oldest son was in his first year of college and our family is die-hard Yankee fans. He sits down on the train at MK and who is sitting across from him with his family but one of his favorite players -Don Mattingly. I asked him if he said anything and he was for the first time speechless. Made his trip!
