Cash on KTTW Card

We head out Saturday. Rather than putting a credit card on my teens' (there's 3 of them) KTTW card, they will be using their own cash.

Is it a hassle putting cash on the KTTW card, rather than a credit card? Is it a hassle getting cash back at the end of the cruise if you didn't use it all? Are debit cards OK for the KTTW card?

First have a great cruise, second it;s all or nothing on your kids kttw i believe they will be attatched to your credit card / debit card (both are fine ) so they won't be able to use cash, however you can instead choose to have a cash account instead for all of you that you can pay off daily. or you can let the kids have use of the cards and get a daily spending printout on your way past guest services and have the kids pay you back what they've spent sodas are now free apart from at the bars and you can buy arcade cards seperately so apart from smootjies / souvenier shops etc there really isn't much else for kids to spend, of course depends on their ages.

and the printout clearly shows what was spent using what card.... so you can track it. They can go down and apply the payments directly.

No, you must use your KTTW card to get the arcade cards. They are in a machine in the arcade and come out in $5, $10 and $20 cards.

Each person in a cabin can have their own payment option. That means that you can have a credit/debit card attached to your card while your kids have just cash on theirs. You won't be able to put the cash onto their accounts until you board the ship. THen you will need to go to Guest Services and they'll be able to take care of it for you. Before you put all of their money on the account you should ask about how to get a refund of any unused cash.

Michele is this a new option ? i've not heard or read of this being available before, if it is it would be a great solution for kids kttw's
