Back Again- this week Animal Kingdom
Dylan is REALLY looking forward to this park. I'm only dedicating 1 full day, and I hope it's enough!

And of course: SHOPS:

Mombasa Marketplace
Mandela's
Chester & Hester's Dino Treasures

Maybe Dos:

Shows:
Finding Nemo- Really want to see this, but I'm not putting it at the top of the list.

It's tough to be a bug- I'd like to see it, but I'd rather do Lion King & Nemo, so we'll just have to see.

Rides:
Kali River Rapids- if it's not too cold- we will probably check this out.
Primeval Whirl- Depending on time

Other:
We will do some trails for sure- but how many, and how long we spend is yet to be decided. Here's my rank order of the trails we would like to do:
1.Maharajah
2.Pagani
3.Discovery Island
4.Oasis Trails (so I know you see this one anyways, but we may spend some more time exploring if we have the chance.)

Jammin' Jungle Parade: I'd love to see it- but I'm not scheduling my day around it.

Don't Cares:
Rafiki's Planet Watch (all of it)- I'm sure it's educational, cute & fun, but I don't think we're going to have time to really explore this area.

The Boneyard- Kid stuff- I'm sure if I have a little boy we'll spend plenty of time here.

TriceraTop Spin- I'm only doing 1 dumboesque ride- and this isn't it!

Finally, Characters I want to see:
I hope to see Mickey, Donald, Pluto & Goofy at the breakfast.

Minnie
Lilo & Stich

Up next week: Hollywood Studios!

Hey Everyone! This week I plot my plans for Hollywood Studios (or MGM, as it was called when I was there before!)
So, originally I was only planning 1 day here. But then I found out the park closes around 7- and if we want to do fantasmic- maybe with a dinner package, then we will have to stop around 4 to eat and wait to get in. And if we eat a TS for an early lunch- that only leaves 5-6 hours to explore- and we may want more then that.

Sooo, I may do an extra half a day here- and eat lunch then go to Epcot or MK for the rest of the day.

Must Dos:

Great Movie Ride

One Man’s Dream- not really a ride, but I will def. walk through here.

Journey into Narnia- we may walk through

Shows:
Lights, Motor, Action! Stunt Show- I’d like to see this, if we get a chance.

Muppet Vision 3D- there are other shows that rank higher on my list.

HSM-3

Parades and Fantasmic:
Fantasmic- this should probably be a must do. But-with it not being offered every night- I’m just hoping it works into my plans. I intend to get some kind of Fantasmic Dinner package-which would assure us a seat.

Block Party Bash- liked to see, not planning my day around it.

Don’t Cares:

Rides:
Sounds Dangerous- I’m not all that interested in this.

Tower of Terror- Crazy right? This is usually at the top of ppl’s list. For us however, we don’t know if we could handle the repeated drops.

Honey I shrunk the Kids Movie set- I LOVED this as a kid- but I think we’d look pretty silly playing here.

Shows:
Playhouse Disney- not really our thing.

Characters I want to see:
Sorcerer Mickey

Toy Story Guys:
Buzz, Woody & Jesse

Star Wars:
Darth Vader, Chewbacca

Shopping List!

So Christmas is nearing, and it’s my favorite time of the year! But- due to the fact that we will be in frantic wedding mode & going on our honeymoon- most of my family won’t receive Christmas gifts until AFTERWARDS. Some will get stuff before, simply because I won’t see them for a while after Christmas.
So here’s the list- I’ve got some ideas- but any ideas you have will be awesome!
BTW- names have been changed.

Our Parents:
My Mom: very easy to buy for- I’m not sure what I’ll get- but I’m sure I’ll find something.
My Stepdad- a big time golfer- hoping I can find something like that.
My Dad: Is a minister- and likes all kinds of antique looking figurines.
My Stepmom: Is Italian- so I’m hoping to find something in Italy.
His Dad: Loves to read- so I’m going to find a cool book
His Mom: like candles and perfumes.

The kids: My nephews & nieces
Gaston- 13- and he’s a man’s man. Likes all sports & video games. And Pirates (he lives in Pirate Country!)
Flounder- 10, also lives in Pirate country. Doesn’t like sports as much- but likes most things Disney- so he should be pretty easy to buy for.
Stich- is 7- likes cars and puzzles.
Lilo- is 5- loves dressing up and all things girly!
Lilliputian- the littlest of the group- she’s 3
--these 2 are sisters- and weirdly wear the same size- they borrow clothes all the time. SO I’m thinking about cute dress up clothes- like Minnie Mouse Dress!! And maybe something else ultra cute- these two are the most fun to buy for!

Others:
His Brother- 22- and a dj. He usually loves anything I buy- so I’ll find something.
My Sister- LOVES Disney- so I’m sure I’ll find something cool for her.

--My other siblings, I might get the gifts for pre-disney. We usually just do things for the kids- because there is so many of us.

My Thesis advisor- I promised him a souvenir. So I’ll find something to put on his desk.

My animals:
Blanca & Tito- the Chis
And
Calypso- my cat.
I’m hoping to find cute pet stuff! Anyone know where you can find this stuff??

And Dylan & I agreed to do our Christmas gifts for each other at Disney- so I’ll get to pick out my own very cool Disney gift!
