Car Service to get from FLL to hotel in Miami (Coral Gables area) the night before our cruise?

Hi, I have a room booked in Coral Gables the night before our cruise out of Miami. We will fly into Fort Lauderdale. I would like to get a sedan hired or hire a taxi instead of using a shuttle to save time and stress; plus since there are 4 of us I am not sure a shuttle would save any money. Has anyone had experience with a car service they could recommend?

Hi. I used QLS (Quality Limo Svce) last March. We had a big group for our wedding, so it was complicated, lots of different pick ups. They were great!

I've used Worldwide Limousine the past two years. They were fine. They are based in Miami. You may want to check with your hotel. They may have a preferred limo company/service they use and you may get a discount. That's how I found Worldwide. I had good service the first time, so I used them again for our next trip.

I know that you were leaning towards not using a shuttle, but I will say SAS was a really good deal at 15 bucks a person and they get really good reviews from almost all that have used them on the boards. We are using them a second time next year for a group of four. So for 120 plus tips we will be getting from FLL airport to our hotel and from the port back to the airport.

The only question would be do they go to the area you are staying, as I can't answer that, but may be worth a look if the car services are pricey.
