Has anyone used "Car on the Drive" service in Orlando ?

we used them last year and they where brilliant, very good service and the car was lovely, wouldnt hesitate to use them again, susie

They are a very popular service, only hear good reviews about them, personally I have no problem collecting car from the airport so its not a service I would use, plus they are quite a bit more expensive compared to a regular rental, they quote about £550 on their site for a 7 seater minivan for 14 days. I have paid £353 incl gold cover.

I think similar and do not see driving from the airport as a hardship.
Perhaps if quote was cheaper than car hire I'd consider it

We have used the service and have to say I wouldnt go back to hiring a car in any other way now!!

The drive from the airport to Villa is not a major hardship but the difference it makes when you land to just collect luggage and get into a van to be drove was in my opinion worth the extra money we paid for the car hire.

We could not fault the service in anyway & highly reccomend it to anyone who wants a stress free start to the holiday. Also a plus point for us was we did not have to leave a credit card (we dont actually own one so it car hire is always a issue)

Thanks everyone for your help. WE are looking at their service as we are 7 passengers plus luggage and don't really want to go to anything bigger than a 7 seater for running around for the two weeks. It is only the to and from airport trips that we are concerned about the space. I know we could collect the car and maybe get a taxi for a couple of us, but we would prefer to keep together if possible !

Depends on difference in cost for me, the difference for us is about £250 for a 2 week rental, taking into account the tank of gas we have included with Dollar. Personally I would 1st see which minivan I got and the space for luggage if there wasn't enough room I would take the luggage and as many people as poss leaving say 2 or 3 at the airport for a coffee, would take me about 1 hour to return for them. Same at the end of the holiday.
£250 saved would be worth the hassle to me, not to others.

Great to hear people like them.

We may well do this next time as a neighbour has a villa we can use, but neither of us have driven abroad and I'd rather have a lift from the airport and then a chance to get to learn the car around with a drive around the housing community after a night's sleep before getting on the highway.

Depending on the difference you might be able to get a small car in addition to the 7 seater - always then gives you the option of spliting up during the holiday if you want to.

There is another company that offers similar service but I can't remember their name., maybe someone else will post.
Your only other option is as I suggested, see if you can get everything in, if not leave a few people at the airport and return, its about 45 mins to Disney from Sanford, something I would definitely do to save £250, I would expect taxi's to be expensive also.
