I was in an accident in 2002 with both my kids. I replaced both seats and just had my insurance handled it with the people who hit me (2 cars collided at an intersection and kept going until they hit me waiting at the light). Also, the insurance company wanted the old seats, so don't throw them away yet, just in case you have to turn them in to get reimbursed. Sorry about the accident and glad you and your little one are ok!
