Canine Oral Papillomavirus

anyone experienced this with their dogs?

My 1 year old dog has had a growth come in over the past 2 weeks that is growing pretty fast on his lip. He will see the vet tonight and have it aspirated. She did look at a few pics of it and thought it could be papillomavirus. Just wondering if anyone's dogs have had this and how long it lasted, how bad it got and if you treated or just let it go away on its own.

My pups and cats have all developed this at different times over the years. A course of steroids normally cleared it up.

Yes my lab had this around age one. He had quite a few of them. I honestly can't remember what they did. Some kind of medication. I recall them saying if that didn't work he would need more aggressive action. It took awhile and it looked horrible but it worked and he never got it again
