Can you still use fast pass after assigned time?

I know that the new Cars Land is sending Disneyland in So. Cal surging in attendance this summer.

Therefore, I was wondering if they are still letting you use your fast pass *AFTER* the assigned time, even for a mega new ride like the Racers?

I always appreciate this policy, but I am always nervous it's about to change especially with the increase in attendance and demand this summer.

Has anyone used fast passes that are a couple hours old recently?

Yes you can use them. DLR is not enforcing FP return times currently.
