Can you pay to park at one park, then leave and park at another? Plus ticket quest..

Two quick questions.

Can you park at one park, say AK, and then leave and come back later the same day and park at say DHS, or would you have to pay again?

Also, can you use one day on a park ticket at one park, then leave and come back to a different park later that day and use a 2nd day on the ticket? For example, 5 day ticket, go to AK (that leaves 4 days left on ticket), leave, come back later to DSH and use another day on the ticket (so it would then have 3 days left)?

Yes, you can pay for parking at one park and then go to another with out paying for parking. Just keep the parking pass they give you, otherwise you will need to pay again.

No. A five day ticket have five days on it not five entries. You will need to add park hoppers or do one park per day. Check out Cheshire Figments ticket sticky for more ticket info.

You pay only once a day to park at Disney...hold onto the receipt, and show it at the guard kiosk at the next parking lot you go to.

Your 2nd question, no you can't do that. It's one-park-per-day on the tickets. The computer system "reads" your card at the first park you go to...for the rest of that day it will only accept the ticket at that first park. So you could go to AK in the morning, leave for lunch and come back in the afternoon to AK. But if you tried to go to DHS, the ticket reader would reject your ticket. They sell park hopper tickets which is what you need if you want to go to more than one park a day (the park-hopper option costs about $50 per ticket, regardless of # of days on your ticket.)

You can use a different ticket card to enter the second park. For example, start using a 5 day ticket by going to Animal Kingdom, then you have 4 days left. After 4 PM, you can go to the Not So Scary Halloween at Magic Kingdom using its special ticket; you don't even need to show the 5 day ticket.

You can return to the same park later in the day; with your 5 day ticket you just started using you will still have 4 days remaining after you re-enter.

You can add the hopping feature to your Magic Your Way ticket any time during your vacation*. The cost is the same, approx. $57. including the tax. For example you could add the hopping when you got to the second park on a given day. WHen you enter the second park, the number of days remaining does not change.

*Exception: Magic Your Way tickets used more than 13 days ago (such as on a previous vacation) may no longer be modified.
