just got back from my trip at 8:00pm. OMG, last night was great, well the whole weekend was great, but seeing The Early November(TEN) and meeting them before and after the show is so amazing

Today TEN posted the following on their website

We would like to announce that at end of our current headlining tour, The Early November will be taking a indefinite hiatus.

Through out the past six years we have released two LP's, two EP's, played over one thousand shows, seen six wonderful countries, have met thousands of great people, made life-long friends, and have broken countless amounts of instruments. We have done more than we have ever thought possible for a small rock band out of southern New Jersey. We are very proud and very grateful of every moment we have spent as The Early November.

Incase any of you are wondering, this is not a result of anything one can consider negative. No fighting, no one hates each other, no one has a substance abuse problem...none of the typical baggage that is usually carried along with rock bands taking a hiatus. The situation is actually much the opposite. We all love and care for one another tremendously. We're as close of friends as we have ever been and, as long as the five of us exist, we will continue to be so. This "hiatus" or "break" is just a result of time and life. As we grow older, priorities change. We've decided we need to take some time and see that life isn't all dirty rock clubs, rest stops at 2 am, and long distance phone calls. We have to be where we haven't been in the past six years; with our friends, family, and loved ones.

We hope this isn't completely somber news to anyone of you. We want to view it almost in the same way many cultures view the passing of a friend or loved one. Not to mourn but to celebrate their life and memory. In our small way, we'd like to do the same. We invite you to come and send off something that has meant so much to the five of us for so long. We may or may not being coming back. Who knows. But for now, all we can say is "Thank You." "Thank You," to everyone who was or has been a part of making our dreams a reality. Most importantly, "Thank You" to every single TEN fan. We hope you guys understand.

We truly love all of you.

- Ace, Joe, Jeff, Serg, Bill

The Early November

**The tour with The Rocket Summer & Melee is NOT cancelled. All dates will continue as planned.**

This is like the saddest day of my life, I plan to sleep in my car at a rest stop just so I can go to both CT and Philly shows April 12th and 14th, might be the last shows of the band if they never get back together. And I don't have any money to stay at a hotel or motel

So Ed, we'll need a report to tell us all about it....

Yea, it's a mess here................the rain has now changed to sleet and sn*w, roads are getting quite nasty. :sad2:  :sad2:

Kids have a snow day here......we're seeing snow changing to sleet changing back to snow then changing to sleet. Schools made the right decision to close as the temps are below freezing and the roads are treacherous.

I've had DH home for two weeks with bronchitis and DS home for a week with some kind of bug. I'm reaching my breaking point here. I actually went out this morning to go to the gym just to get away. (I love my family, I love my family, I love my family, I love my family)

HAPPY ST. PATS DAY EVERYONE!!!!!!

Angelina had off today for a Teacher's Inservice, but she starts her new job at Build-a-Bear at our local mall 9:30 tomorrow morning. I guess you know who will be up bright and early cleaning off the car and driving Miss B-a-B to work in the morning......................:lmao:

Andy,

I saw on another thread you were under the weather eailier, I hope you are feeling better now.

We're snowbound this morning!!!!! DD had a school function this morning and we can't get out of our driveway and our road hasn't been plowed yet. My SUV is stuck in the driveway and even in low range it won't budge.

We had all sleet yesterday and now its a solid mass on the ground that you can walk on top of.

Andy....I see we're not the only household dealing with illnesses. Glad you are feeling better. I think we're on the mend, too.

I have to laugh that your DD is working at Build-A-Bear because my DD carrying around her Build-A-Bear dog on the cruise is how we met. :rotfl:

Angelina started this morning at B-a-B. It took me 30 minutes to get the car cleard off, then as I was trying to get the car out of the driveway, the car got stuck in the ice. It took me another 30 minutes to dig the car out. Luckily, I had planned to leave early just incase we ran into trouble. We got to the mall about 30 minutes early, so Angelina took a little nap in the car while she was waiting to go in, LOL!!!

Since the roads were still quite bad, Hazel and I stayed in the mall the three hours while Angelina had her training session this morning. Once we came out of the mall around 1pm, the roads were much clearer thanks to the sun melting most of the sleet and ice.

It's funny you should have posted about your DD's B-a-B dog, because just before I read your post, Angelina brought her B-a-B dog out into the livingroom, LOL!!!

Andy

We had problems getting a car out of the driveway too
That icey mix on top of snow was a tough snow to shovel

Took about 4 hrs to clear 3/4 of driverway and breezeway
Normally it takes me about 45 minutes

hi everyone.

I]'m on the laptop right now, in bed. I had a "procedure" done yesterday and I'm still in a lot of pain. I dont even know if I made the right decision to have the procedure done (it all started with what my doctor thought was a cyst) but when he cut into it yesterday he found it was filled with blood and a blood clot, rather than fluid like he expected to find. he had to dig and clean it all out, then he put a baloon catheter in it, and the drain. I am still in a lot of pain :( and this stupid drain has to stay in for 4 weeks! and the drain is not in a place that I can keep immobile! I thought I felt up to going out to a local diner for corned beef and cabbage this evening,l but now I'm in even more pain than I was before. at least the food was good. lol (gotta keep my sense of humor right. lol)

anyway, I have no idea what to expect now. I have no idea if I can work on Monday... or tuesday.. or wednesday...etc. I can only take a few steps without pain, and I can not sit upright at all. good grief, shoot me now. lol

anyway I hope everyone is ok who wasnt feeling well. oh,. and we got a ton of snow and sleet too. yuck, its the middle of march, who needs it? lol

Terry,

So sorry to hear the news
Take care and get plenty of rest.

Hope you start to feel better soon

Ed
